Captain Cold is also 6000x more badass than Mr. Freeze, who only became a good character thanks to Dini and the BTAS writers revamping his origin story and personality.
At least they had Kombat Kast for MKX where we could see some gameplay every week. We had essentially little to no gameplay to see for Injustice outside of that terrible promotional “tournament” they ran until the month before the game came out.
i hope they use the TV version of him. the guy playing him was the hammiest actor ive ever seen and it was the absolute best.
Mr. Freeze hasn’t done shit in a while. Meanwhile Captain Cold is on two successful shows, and is fairly prominent in the comics with a highlight being a member of the Justice League following event crap.
TLDR He is super popular and more of a marketing success currently.

Sony was the leading software publisher that month thanks to Uncharted 4.

The good news is that shit would never happen.
Unless capcom really likes losing money (which sometimes, it seems likely) they will never touch the DmC universe again.
There is no point on making a sequel for a game that didn’t pass the million counting all the plattaforms + re-release. Specially when DMC4SE outsold all of what DmC did combined.
