Well, I guess to be fair I played Ken a lot more in SF x TK than I did in SF4. In SF x TK playing him for the neutral works better as his pokes lead to more on their own. Far st.hk crumple on counter-hit, his overheads ground bounced on counter-hit, and of course boost chains. You could link into super off of a step kick as well. All his normals in general had pretty solid hitboxes.
There’s a few things. SFIV players don’t like links have been made easier and have an input buffer in SFV. Jabs function more like how they did in older games. You can’t link jabs into medium and heavys in the newer builds and jabs been given more pushback. Vega is the only character that can link his jab into a medium. A couple of them ain’t happy about supers being the only way to get a hard knockdown.
SF4 is probably the reason most people don’t know the difference between zoning and keepaway.
…why would anyone dislike that? As long as it’s not brain-dead easy, having lower execution requirements for basic bnbs isn’t a bad thing.
I like the sound of this in theory. My only worry is that links overall seem to be…not very prevalent. I’d like more combo potential than SF4 but things seem a bit more limited at the moment, though V-trigger seems to alleviate this. Guess we’ll see when the game is out and people get lab time in.
Ibuki players I bet.
…oh hey guys.
Guess what’s back.

fucc the world emote is back.
Hey LW, don’t you have some horse ass to chafe your penis to?
SFIV is a game where 1F links are needed for bnbs. People under the misguided belief that making things deliberately hard will give it more depth. My execution is shit so I welcome the more latent requirements.
What it means is that medium and heavy will be more relevant in the neutral game. I know what you mean about combo potential being limited. I wish SFV had juggles like SF3 and SFxT. It would make things more interesting.
So people just don’t want to let go of their autopilot set-play.
SF4 players complaining about easy shit are the players that would play BBhood using dash links as BnBs
Umbrella Corps looks straight eSports. If the netcode is good it’ll find its niche in the competitive shooter community.
Capcom should have showed a trailer of Ken just zoning.
HYPE!!
Also, Ken has pretty much the same tools he did in previous games. V-trigger is where he goes wild. So yeah…
Park your Arwings folks, Starfox delayed until 2016.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Probably to polish up those “shitty” graphics everyone was crying about…
Persona 5 also getting delayed and no one’s complaining?!
Everyone knew that shit wasn’t making 2015, especially here lol.
I rather it gets delayed and they work all the kinks out than to get a buggy glitched filled game like alot of the Xbox One and PS4 titles are getting.
It’s September and there’s hardly been anything on P5 since the 1st trailer. 2015 was a pipe dream, lol.
Thank you. People want shit rushed out just so they get to play it and bitch about issues. I don’t care how much they delay it as long as it’s worth the wait.
I didn’t believe for a second that P5 was making it in 2015.
Yea it was preeeeetty obvious that Persona 5 wasn’t gonna make it out this year.
Fine by me, I’m still plodding through P3.
Apparently the Project Diva Arcade PS4 port is planned to have over 200 songs, not through DLC, as a thank you gift to the fans.
That’s enough to last a lifetime lol. I wonder if it’ll hurt sells for Project Diva X, although the gameplay is a bit different and X will have Edits plus other non-rhythm modes while Arcade most likely will not.
