Now that is a great amount of bullshit right there, the only thing that i got wrong were the prices of GGXrd and P4AU, after that nothing.
Your argument so far has been that They release a game with DLC chars and another later 3 months with more dlc chars
I proven wrong all of that, then you admit that you were exagerating but that the facts don’t change anything when they do.
I also point that of all their games only 2 can have been done as patches, you simply ignore it because you know is true and can’t argue with it.
I also point how you faultly say that they release one game after another with dlc when it has not been the case.
After CS CSEX who came 2 years after didn’t have DLCs at all.
Again, at this point the only shit you have done is prove that you can’t argue shit to safe your life as usua, you get owned and then you retreat because you can’t back up the shit you say, and in the end you can only keep moving the goalposts.
SFII has like 6 or 7 updates. SF3 has 3 updates, Melee is an anomaly due to Nintendo, MVC2 is the an update to the whole Marvel cross over series of which there are like 6 or 7 games, and CVS2 is an update to CVS1 and SVC Chaos. My DC Double Impact games fit in the same catagory as any other fighter that gets upgraded, fucking useless cuz everyone moved onto Third Strike.
The majority of fighting games aren’t meant to last because they are going to be updated, we have 30 years of proof of this. Just because the last iteration lasts when they finally stop updating doesn’t mean everything that came before it was built with the same expectation, or that even the last update was built with that expectation, they just stopped updating at that point.
This is even an expectation from the players themselves, look at the forum for any fighting game after a new iteration comes out, it’s full of people demanding an update cuz they don’t like how the tiers are shuffling out.
Or the vs Series, or SF3 with 3 iterations without counting the different builds of the game that were sold on arcades.
Hell, the only reason why cvs didnt have more than 3 games was because the contract with snk.
Lets not forget that ASW primary market are arcades.
Or that the market spoke loud and clear that they were more interested on retail releases instead of digital updates.
Don’t worry, i know for a fact that it was over when you started to move the goalposts because you didn’t have an argument.
Keep holding that perpetual L.
They still have been updated which means that by your position they wasted their money on earlier iterations because those iterations are now technically useless by virtue of being out of date. From the position your standing from every version before Super Turbo (Or HDR I guess) before 3rd Strike, before Marvel 2 (Now Marvel 3 since that game died pretty much the second Marvel 3 was released) and before CVS2 where made a waste due to the updates.
For a little perspective, Second Impact was released the exact same year as New Generation.
X-Men: Children of the Atom, SF vs Marvel, Marvel vs Capcom 1, Marvel vs Capcom 2
SFIII, SFIII 2nd Impact, SFIII 3rd Strike plus the different builds of the game, if they stopped with this one it is because it was deem a failure
CVS, CVS pro, CVS2 plus the different versions of CVS2 both on arcades and home consoles, if they stopped was because contractual reasons with SNK plus the decline of the arcade market on usa.
Again, the market of the FG’s made in japan that are not capcom is arcades, they survive by making revisions, expantions and/or full sequels of the games.
BB so far has 3 very diffferent games, with 2 having revisions that add the dlc chars on a whole package plus a new character and balance changes, both with a window around 2 years between release of said revision.
