Devil’s Third looks like a parody of the US Paramilitary forces from the eyes of the Japanese.
Like if the Japanese made their version of the Expendables and turn it into a video game
For the US English version I hope there at least one bad cowboy joke.
Any particular reason for this order? I remember going Vent-> Terra-> Aqua when I played.
One thing I will say is I like the choice of going through the whole game a one character rather than constantly switching off. KH 3D got less tedious with that as you got more stuff to prevent it, but starting out, that was too intrusive to gameplay.
-LW, in Metroid Prime… going scan-crazy is kind of like going bomb-crazy in the 2D Metroids, but at least you get A LOT insight into the Metroid universe via scan descriptions (I enjoyed it). Still though, if you’d rather spend more time playing than reading then don’t try to scan everything on the first playthrough.
Devil’s Third has been getting panned pretty hard, to which Itagaki has responded with saying he will release a video of one of the devs showing how it’s “really played”. The slide sells it for me in this game. It’s not Vanquish, but it’s still cool.
Sorta. The main character is Russian, and there is a cowboy though. Game is based on a ‘what if’ scenario of the Kessler Effect. It looks rough, but considering the development hell this game has been through, I’ve still seen worse.
Well Aqua going last is obvious, so it’s a matter of what order to use the initial two. My spoiler-free reasoning is that Terra’s story is a bit more detached from the other two and he also plays the least like the others. Easier to get him out of the way early.
