As I did AS I can’t say but I imagine the Groudon fight will be a lot harder than the Kyogre fight in ORAS.
And of course Blaziken was a better Fire Type…as Groudon wasn’t a Fire Type at all back then, he was just a Ground Type.

13 years later, and peeps still don’t know about Super Repels…
I know but he was red…and I was a kid so red meant fire XD.

Everything you said makes me happy. I always liked team Aqua and magma but they had a really flimsy plot in the OG game.
I bought Ruby over Sapphire because Groundon looked godlike. So I hope he really is much better and challenging to catch.
Remember catching him as a kid and having a sinking feeling realizing that Blaziken was just a better fire type lol.

Well kid you would love Primal Groudon.
Everyone loves Primal Groudon. He’s the best Ubermon right now.
Arceus rest Mega-RayRay.
…We don’t talk about Mega RayRay
Uh…apparently there is going to be a Free 2 Play multiplayer only version of Devils Third coming to PC.

Might just wait on that if the performance issue on Wii U are true. I was more interested in the MP anyway.
Edit: Looks like its true, straight from Valhalla http://www.valhallagamestudios.com/en/company/release/20150721.pdf

I do.
*There is only one Poké-God.
Mega Ray-Ray is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Poké-Spirit.
For He so Loved the World, he sent Pachirisu, His Only Son to tank Draco Meteors for all our sins.*

Pachirisu couldn’t take a Dragon Ascent from him though. Pachirisu sucks. But enough of that, give Reason more…reasons why ORAS is great.

Glad to see Capcom taking big risks redesigning the old characters in SF5, even if Ken’s face looks ugly as fuck
Looks like all bets are off, those old characters will most likely not play or look quite the same anymore.
Looks like Capcom did learn something from MK X
MK? You spelled SNK wrong
Ken kicks reminds me of Kim kaphwan and the Kim brothers the most
I’m glad this game is not looking like the eyesore that is SFIV. I might give it a chance this this time. When I mentioned MK, I meant that like MK Capcom took risks in changing alot of the characters up but keeping them somewhat recognizable
Not that Ken resembles SNK Fighters. Unless u meant something else
Who the fuck are you? You seriously don’t know snk but give mk props for changing shit up? Every character in mk still has the same jump arc as each other iirc, not to mention they all share the same damn normals. Let’s not even get started on all the mk designs that are retarded to begin with.
Sf shits on mk and then makes mk eat the shit up. They are not even close to being in the same class and status as fighters. Mk is shit tier, capcom and snk are on that God status. Mk ain’t teaching nobody shit son.
The NR games are some of the best sellers in the industry. Most people will recognize the trait system as a mechanic from injustice and SFV’s longer combos are probably going to draw some comparison to MKX’s combos. SNK games simply don’t have the visibility even when it’s clear SF takes inspiration from certain aspects.
What kind of idiot would relate long combos in a SF game to MKX? One that just started playing fighters this year?
The combos in SFV involved a lot more juggles then previous entries. You also underestimate the stupidity of some casual players. I was playing 3s at a video store with one of the employees and a random customer asked if we were playing mortal kombat.
Probably, but not those juggles aren’t the same as MK’s. They’re what is expected out of a SF game. MK doesn’t have air resets, so every hit continues the juggle. Only certain moves in SF have juggle properties, and those are usually special moves. Only in SFxT did most normals have juggle properties, and that was because of the Tekken influence. It’s really easy to see the difference between the way combos work in the two games.
Someone like that isn’t the type of person I’d even include in this discussion, as they’re clearly ignorant to fighting games and probably video games in general. Most, if not all, gamers know what MK is and looks like.
Gen 1 forever overrated sadly.
Is this a troll.
Gen 1>all
The designs from new gens can’t compare to gen 1.
friend playing metroid fusion for the first time
Was about to say something.
Then I remembered that SRKarcade is Sennin. And we’ve been down this road a million times.
Don’t respond to it kids. Arguing with it is even worse than arguing with me.

NO ONE takes a Dragon Ascent and not take mortal damage… Steel types get dented by that shit.
But yes ORAS. Best Pokémon game yet… They even made catching mons fun again with the DexNav functions.
Man I can’t really remember any music from games.
THPS
THPS2??? I don’t fuckin know/remember most game music.
I think it is pretty safe to say, you are doing it wrong.
Maybe I should try Alpha Sapphire. At the very least, the single-player in Pokemon has always been fun. Kinda want to replay Pokemon White again.
Only reason I stopped, aside from my growing distaste for RNG, is the competitive side of things. The power creep has just been getting ridiculous. It reminds me of the Yugioh situation in a way, and I stopped playing that game for a similar reason.
I really think at the rate they’re going they should just rebuild the game from scratch. In terms of balance, at least; keep the same mons but re-distribute stats and abilities/movesets, perhaps adjusting how certain things work (such as stealth rock). Much like Yugioh, they just keep adding more and more, and that feels like it just makes things more…“messy”, I guess, for lack of a better word.
But that probably won’t happen.

Even if you EV raised your Def stat, or was it Special def?
Defense since Dragon Ascent is Physical… But Mega Ray-Ray is so batshit fucking strong, only Steelix-level defense isn’t dying in one hit, even if Ray isn’t investing in its Attack stat.
And good luck killing the nigga since its Ability turns Super-Effective attacks into neutral ones(its 4x Ice Weakness becomes 2x)…
Oh, and RAY-RAY DA GAWD is so boss, all it needs is to know this move in order to Mega-Evolve… Meaning it can hold any item while having a RIDICULOUS 780 Base Stat Total.
The motherfucker has 105 Base HP, 180 Base Attack and Special Attack and 115 Base Speed, with both defenses at 100…
The GAWD OF ALL GAWDS.

Yugioh is weird and I swear they don’t play test their cards. I like the way Magic the Gathering does things, standard format is the current core set and the current expansion block and the previous block. Then you get into formats like modern or vintage. Yugioh always make new cards that make the old ones obsolete and you can’t build a functional deck from one set, while Magic allows one set to provide everything you need in that set and have plenty of options for deck themes/builds. Also Magic’s ban list don’t change from season to season and more older cards are often OP than newer cards.
Power Creep in Pokémon is fine once you realize GameFreak doesn’t give a shit about 6v6 Single battles and most of their balance decisions revolve around the 2v2 format(the official tournament format).
Stuff like Mega Kanga and Mega Gengar ain’t shit when they’re being double-targeted by the opposing team.
