People who aren’t speedrunning the game die to Phantoon? I have literally never seen anyone BUT speedrunners die to Phantoon.
I’ve died to Phantoon a few times, while speed running and not. He can be a real dick sometimes, especially if you haven’t been keeping up with your E-Tanks.
Super Metroid still got the best death animation of all time tho, so I didn’t really mind when it happened lol.

Well it’s only an instant kill if you have one and a half Energy Tanks. As they say in the video, the most that the attack can do to you is 160 damage.

Got my PS TV hooked up in my bedroom. It’s not such a bad little box. Vita games really do look great on the big screen.

I just let you know, for remote play with the PS4 the Vita TV is terrible for PS4 Fighters and Shmups.

Kidding aside, I wonder if there’s any bad blood between Kamiya and Inafune. Weren’t politics one of the reasons the latter left Capcom? Makes you wonder if Kamiya was one of those employees who didn’t like him.

Just from what little Kamiya has had to say about him, you can tell he can’t stand Inafune… I wouldn’t be surprised if Inafune was one of the peeps behind the Clover boys getting the boot.

I just had an idea. Saturday Night Slammasters makes a return, except it includes grapplers from all fighting games, with their own titantrons and storylines.
