Haha read the comments about the Witcher 3. The guys who got that game spent the first 3 weeks of that game trying to figure out which settings to turn on/off to make Geralt’s pecs bounce up and down just so.
PC gaming is EZ. Like sonicabid said.
KB/M lets you look faster than pad. Gives you more control. I still use a pad a lot but there are some games where I’ve switched to KB/M.
I’ve mentioned games like SF x TK, Stronghold Crusader, Rise of Nations, NFS: Hot Pursuit (2011), Burnout: Paradise, as well as purchasing Castle Crashers and Strider.
I play plenty that’s not on Nintendo. Maybe if YOUR dumbass would stop being triggered by Candy-Colored Equines and pay attention once in a while you would see that.
@Million we gotta revive my Prototype thread if it gets remastered and out of all the games last generation it’s more deserving of the remaster treatment than most simply because it was such a hideous game to look at on 360 at least. All that open world carnage and chaos happening simultaneously came at the price of OG Xbox textures seriously the game had a nice art style with the cool red and black goo and powers, but the actual city itself was just bland and muddy yuck and heaven forbid you walk up to anything and take s close look.
I’m against remasters usually it’s just s cost efficient way to make profit, but this is an exception I’m glad I held off on buying Prototype during steam sale.
Sounds like the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is marred by some technical issues. How do the console versions fair in comparison?
On that note…I’m very, very disappointed in what I’ve seen of Arkham Knight. I loved Arkham Asylum as the whole game felt like an alternative Legend of Zelda in a way, with each building interior as its own “dungeon.” Everything was enjoyable and each gameplay method was well balanced in terms of how often it came up (Stealth, Combat, and Exploration). Arkham Knight seems to put too much emphasis on taking on enemies head-on, made FAR worse by the inclusion of the Batmobile. Tank battles? Seriously? No thank you. And there doesn’t seem to be any emphasis placed on stealth at all.
If this is the direction the Batman games took after Arkham Asylum…I’ll just stick to replaying Arkham Asylum.
Oh yeah if anybody wants smash bros mugs like I posted let me know. My friend will ship them in the US. 15 for two plus shipping. Decals are vinyl so don’t put em in the dish washer.
Started playing Just Cause 2 the other day. Everything about that game except for the gameplay and the scale of the map is fucking garbage but I still love it. The voice acting. Jesus christ the voice acting.
Arkham Knight is fucking incredible so far. The game itself looks beautiful, and seamlessly traveling throughout Gotham City with not even one loading screen is an incredible feat because the map is HUGE and more detailed than I could’ve even imagined. I mean this is absolutely insane.
I really love how they
Spoiler
started the game right off the bat by affirming the fact that Joker really is gone and dead. That was such an eerie way to start the game: looking at the antagonist of the last two games and actually burning his corpse to a crisp. Rocksteady had to know people were suspecting Joker making a return, and they must’ve wanted to make a point out of just how wrong that theory was lol.
I can’t even imagine how insane the Scarecrow trips are gonna get…the first five minutes of the game shows you the most instense and terrifying Scarecrow scene between the first three games.
Got a lot of time to play last night. I managed to finish the Ace Chemicals mission and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all the new mechanics outside of maybe the new upgrade paths they added in this game. Love the new “Fear Takedowns” they added. It makes dealing with armed gunmen so much easier, and it’s satisfying as fuck clearing out a room in seconds. The game really changes once you get Batman’s new armor. Which also reminds me how much I love the fact that Lucius Fox is now actually in the game. Dude is always hooking you up with the quickness.
Don’t even get me started on the Batmobile. That shit is literally a tank that controls like a wet dream. Driving around on rooftops, ripping walls apart with anchored wire, blasting through Gotham’s streets at blistering speeds, remotely controlling that monster from any location, ejecting out high into the night sky and flying through Gotham at comical speeds, the list goes on and on…that car can do anything.
Everything about this game has been perfect so far…haven’t even seen one graphical hiccup. It’s such an immersive Dark Knight experience not only from a gameplay perspective but an atmospheric one as well. This city is alive and breathing, it has a mind of its own and you actually feel things are happening outside of just where you happen to be located. I remember walking out of the GCPD one time and seeing a few cops standing around the Batmobile with intrigue and curiosity, slowly backing away and resuming patrol once they saw me coming their way. Weather is dynamic. Thugs react to and conversate over story events that you’ve completed. Some are too scared to even face you and run away when they see you in the streets.
Need to get off work already so I can go home and keep playing.
yeah and when you finally installed the game and you’re ready to play, the game will decide not to work for some fucking unknown reason.- PC gaming everyone
Nintendo asked Criterion to make F-Zero Wii U, Dev turns it down
They were too busy making Most Wanted at the time. Man…it’s like the stars aligned and then God said ‘NO…You can’t have that’
Blade & Soul will releease in the west as a F2P game
FFVII Remake won’t have new characters
Also talks about some other changes, looks like something within the game mechanics is going to get changed up and as for other platforms they’re saying they’re only concerned with the PS4 right now and haven’t thought towards anything else for now.
Reggie: We are well aware that you want a proper Metroid
Nomura: We’ve already got a release date for KH 3, but I can’t tell ya!
Seriously, though… Who cares about that PC/Console bullshit? You guys sound dumb snobbing it up over what medium you choose to play video games through.
