Personally I’ve liked PC gaming because once I got one machine, I don’t HAVE to upgrade to play a “next-gen” game. Will I lose visual quality? Sure. But I can still play the game.
Which leads to another thing; I can tweak the graphics settings to my liking. If my PC can’t quite handle 60fps at max settings on a game, all I gotta do is turn the settings down. I can essentially choose between 30fps with higher quality or 60fps with a bit lower quality. Rather than being forced to have one or the other. And if I want, at a later point in time I can boost the power of my system with new parts, even if it’s a pre-built machine.
Being able to use a ton of different controller types is just another added bonus.
Did I mention that you get massive backwards compatibility? Still being able to play games from 14 years ago without having to re-purchase them is always awesome.
Playing on a console is much more convenient/easy and can be cheaper, and you don’t have to worry about meeting graphics specs or anything, but personally, the added benefits that PC gaming give me far outweigh the convenience of a console.
I do hope that in the future, we get more multi-plat games that support cross-platform play. So we can just play on the systems we like, while still being able to play each other. SFV is a step in the right direction and I’m sure there’s been games in the past that have done the same.
I cant understand fucking idiots like you, who should be asking yourself. Why didnt they remake FF6 or chrono trigger. Or maybe you are one of the kids born in like 1999 who thinks FF7 is the best rpg ever.
I’m 30 actually, but go ahead and keep falling back on the childish bullshit to excuse yourself from a modicum of critical thinking.
By the way, i don’t need to ask myself why they aren’t remaking FF6 or CT because I already know why. The FF6 and CT fanbase haven’t been as vocal as the FF7 fanbase, so SE doesn’t see money in those games like they do 7. Why remake 6 or CT when 7will make them a lot more guaranteed money.
See that wasn’t so hard now was it? I’m sorry you’re too stupid this figure simple shit like this out in your own man.
But how much? I’ve been watching Arkham Knight and I’ve seen zero of the elements that made me like Arkham Asylum so much, aside from maybe the combat.
The batmobile alone ruined the game for me. If it was more like the one at the beginning of Arkham Asylum I maybe wouldn’t mind that much; I don’t want to be driving around in a dang tank blowing up other military vehicles. Regardless of how mobile said tank may be.
Well, that’s what the Batmobile is pretty much lol. The point of the games is to make you feel like Batman, not like you’re playing a Zelda game. And they all accomplish that feeling.
And yes, the latter 3 games still have stealth sections. The difference is that they don’t always force you to tackle a situation in just one way like Asylum had the tendency to do.
Bruh… stop. You’re bitching about an RPG not getting a remake while trying to pass the people who may not agree with you off as “kids.”
Just stop with all the angry posting. If it’s not fat chicks you’re complaining about, it’s married men. If it’s not married men, it’s FF7. You look ridiculous.
