Yeah, there was rap. Even worse, it was Wiz Khalifa by the sound of it. If I wasn’t hype off of a new MK, I’d have a bad reaction to the music too.
It’s just sad that this is likely all we’re going to get of the new MK. If they have anything lined up for E3, it’s probably just promotional stuff like this.

If these dudes want rap in MK they need to get RZA on the job.
Scorpion OTG duel spears was amazing in the trailer. Hopefully the game has real OTGs now.
RZA would only make a soundtrack for Marvel, a martial arts flick or an anime…fucking nerd
MK is influenced by the cheesy b-movie material arts flicks that RZA grew up on. The story mode of MK9 was just that, a cheesy material arts b-movie. RZA would be perfect for it!

In MK you technically dont die you go to the Netherrealm if you have access to the Nexus or a portal that takes you to the other realms you can walk freely between them .
I already don’t care much for MK at the moment but, if they put Injustice’s environmental interactions or any of the other bullshit from that game in, I’m not buying this shit.
The music wasn’t bad, but they need to stop throwing rap into all these games… It’s just tacked on and it doesn’t fit. It also doesn’t help that they keep using tracks from “weed rappers.” First Snoop, now Wiz. 
I won’t be surprised if we start hearing Mac Miller and Dizzy Wright. If they want rap music sooo bad, they should proposition Chris Webby or Shizzy Sixx, people that actually play these games.

Animations in the CGI trailer is as stiff as in the games smh.
Injustice was a huge improvement for NRS but damn those animations…

They should bring back running and make it so that you can’t do target combos unless you make contact like umk3.
