I mean yeah it looks alright but not anywhere near the early expectation people had. I don’t see it making back that kind of money unless they scum it up somehow.

Take note that Destiny is supposed to be at least a 10 year project. This figure probably includes any DLC and/or microtransation stuff that they want to put in during that period.

Haha, mannnn Destiny is going to be considered such a “bomb” if the budget is really that inflated. We might be watching a gaming business disaster in progress, folks. From the gameplay footage shown, it looks “alright”…I’d most likely get into it, but I’m not sure we’re seeing a new legendary game experience though.
Let’s see…if I’m doing the math correctly here and assuming a 60-dollar price tag…it would need to be at least 8.3 million copies just to start breaking even on that 500 mil.
I just want to see either port of The Grid or the Grid 2. That game was awesome and the best thing Ed Boon ever made. Fuck MK.
What happens if that becomes the standard budget for triple A tittles…kinda making me worried about another video game industry crash.
