i missjumps in Dark Souls frequently if im not careful about it. Ive missed jumps in the Uncharted series. Sly cooper came out last year lots of missable jumps in that. Sonic Generations, Darksiders 1&2, Ducktails Remastered (dunno if this one should technically count) La Mulana, WaForward games like Shantae and Blood Rayne, Dishonored, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Bayonetta, an im sure many others if i cared to keep thinking about it, but i dont.
Quantum Break not being at E3 and getting pushed back to 2015 both disappointing and funny since it reminds me of that Indiana Jones gif. I still don’t know exactly how the game works yet but it’s interesting.
I thought TR was solid. Just that, SOLID. Nothing more or less. Def doesnt deserve astronimical praise or slander. They did some things well and some things poorly.
Much like with Sunset Overdrive, now that we’ve seen some gameplay of Quantum Break I feel the hype for it is vindicated. The implications for what strolling around in bullet time have for puzzles/combat/etc are tantalizing.
Damn, physical copy (I hope) of Shadow Warrior sounds tempting.
Speaking of Asian protagonists in Western-made games, just remembered that United Front was teasing something about Sleeping Dogs long ago. I hope they drop some news at E3. That game needs a sequel if, for nothing else, so that the devs get another chance at the franchise unencumbered by the setbacks that put the first through development hell (whose effects were painfully obvious late-game).
Nintendo announced who’s going to be in the Smash Invitational tourney along with rules and announcing the Gamecube controller adapter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMQySEjyCUw
I also gotta find out the time for Capcom’s Ultra invitational so I can add that to the front.
“Triad Wars” makes it sound like it may be something multiplayer-based. Hope that’s not the case.
First game was fun, but very anticlimactic imo. The story has a great build-up of a power-struggle taking place within the gang, but then comes snowballing down. I had expected to go through a gauntlet of boss fights against key antagonists, but but before I even realized it, I was chasing down the final boss of the game. Like I said, it was understandable given how much time & resources had already been devoted to the project, but to me that was the game’s greatest flaw.
So I was at Gamestop yesterday, and i traded in a few games i hated or had no intention to play, The he asked oh did you wanna place the credit on a pre-order. I say nah since Bayo 2 is the main thing im waiting for and idk a release date. So he looks it up, and says he can’t find a release. Now idk if he heard this from a solid source or if he just pulled it outta his ass, but he said the game got pushed back for a 2015 date for the U.S…
I don’t believe him, but if they say that at e3/Nintendo direct, I am gonna pissed as fck.
He doesn’t have a source on that lol. He looked at the release list saw that it probably said 1/1/2015 and for whatever reason didn’t think about it being a placeholder date.
If it did get pushed back to like early 2015 though…I’d imagine it’d be give it a better chance to sell with the influx of people getting the system for Mario Kart and Smash.
