Thank you. Po might not like what he’s seen of Watch Dogs, but to assume it’s a terrible game without playing it and berate other gamers for spending their money on what they want is just not a good look.
I don’t enjoy CoD games usually, nor do I like the fact that they sell like crack and have created a ripple effect with every other developer copying them in hopes of better sales regardless of whether said copying of CoD actually makes those games any better, but I do respect everyone’s right to do as they please with their life and don’t make fun of people for spending money on games they enjoy.
I don’t believe I’ve made fun of anyone in particular for their tastes, but I will make fun of said tastes unrelentingly.
My frustration comes from the fact that certain games selling well despite obvious flaws leads to a toxic marketplace… Everyone always complains about all the “Triple A” games feeling the same, but they do nothing to stem the tide, and keep right on feeding that machine.
Buy what you want, but don’t be surprised when you keep getting the same shit, and people like me facepalm at your battered wife syndrome…
