I would say in the case of the SRPGs weve been talking about its less about RNG and more about the fact that the cpu always knows more about the mechanics and knows the matchup in certain maps and has an unblockable waiting for your ass

The lighting is extremely well done on this game. It looks like getting out of the ground game was too easy in the beginning though but I’m sure there’s probably something I’m either missing or don’t know about.

The Resident Evil 7 rumors are gaining some steam so while we’re on topic here is the quintessential to-do list for Resident Evil 7 to be godlike:
-OPTIONAL Co-Op/Ai partner
-Reduce abundance of ammo/health pickups (at least on higher difficulties)
-Cut the quicktime button presses & forced disorientation cutscenes
-Claire & Barry return
-More aggressive enemy Ai
-Increase puzzle element (Revelations and Ada Wong campaign RE6 shows that the brain busters are still there)
Revelations showed that they survival horror element is still there and RE5&6 showed that the production value has only increased for the series.
They are perfectly set up to steal all the thunder from Evil Within, or else Evil Within is going to become the new Resident Evil come August.

Dunno about new RE, I’m sure Evil Within will be awesome but it is his retirement game. Any following I would find highly suspect.
If RE7 played more like 4/5 and less like 6 I’d be inclined to try it out. RE6 felt so damn clunky to me, control wise. The plot was a little to much as well, and while I enjoyed having a lot to do, only about half of it could qualify as “eh sorta fun” status.
Claire and Barry returns would be sweet though. Still holding out a little hope for Billy though.
