Never cared fore anything Bungie made (minus Marathon way back) but I won’t lie, love their Live action commercials! they always make them look good. A shame that the commercials show us what could be for a live action Halo movie though…
Everything pisses you off so this no real surprise or anything. Business as usual in fact. It’s to the point that no one cares if something pisses you off, whether it’s legitimate or not because you’re always pissed off, can’t be bothered to figure out if you’re bitching about something worthwhile or just throwing a fit cuz something rubbed you the wrong way.
Sorry Po, it’s just kind of to the point I don’t think anyone cares about how you feel about most stuff anymore. I don’t honestly. I think you need to take a break from this hobby and come back to it later with a fresh face and a fresh perspective, cuz as it is right now, you’re just kind of annoying anymore. The people who used to care about what you had to say took your comments to heart back in the day, but I dunno about anyone else, but I’m tired of bein preached at, and the people who haven’t taken it to heart are never going to, and never cared to in the first place so with them it’s falling on def ears.
Yes we do, we just don’t feel the need to repeate our selves over and over endlessly like a broke ass record, preaching to people who already fucking know, while being ignored by those who never fucking cared.
Was never a fan of Halo, but I loved their ad campaigns/commercials for 3, ODST, & Reach. Everything was so somber, it actually worked with the Halo universe & made it somewhat believable (unlike sooo many other live-action renditions of video games).
EDIT: The fact that the Destiny trailer in comparison seems much more hokey/hollywood (yes I guess I now know Destiny has a much different atmosphere than Halo) is probably my only gripe with it.
I was thinking more like a trailer with guys in suits fighting each other without any gameplay sprinkled in between. That’d be more entertaining to watch. I’m aware the old 64 commercial had a couple seconds of in game footage, but that’s not what sold kids on the game. Remember wrestling was pretty popular back then and witnessing Nintendo mascots fighting one another like it was a 4 man hell in a cell was awesome to see.
And non-gameplay trailers can be fun depending on the game. eg. whenever Blizzard releases a new Warcraft, Starcraft or Diablo CG trailer. Everyone already knows how they play so I’ll take the CG trailer. I’ve never touched WoW but that new WoW expansion trailer Blizz released a couple weeks ago was pretty cool to watch.
That’s the thing is that it is local and online. $10 is coo’ even though it’s the ugly Greatest Hits label. Found a cool online import store that has good prices as well.
The Times I’ve thought about the other routes, my laptop(which is ancient anyways) gets malware warnings.
