He should ban anybody for liking milk. That shit is filled to the brim with GMO’s and artificial estrogens; gon give breast implants to the future men of our society. I mean, just look at me. too much cereal = might need a bra.
TGS? Can I please be excited? I’ve been waiting three long months for this event, I expect to be amused. Hmph, I’m not even sure what the line up looks like this year. All I want is my Versus, nothing else. Give me a 10min trailer of new Versus footage and I’m good. Best Tokyo Game Show ever.
I would love if TGS were to reveal something that makes me want to up & buy a current-gen console, but I’ll be keeping my expectations in check. Japan’s all about that mobile market & the past several Media Create handheld/console sales numbers do not indicate that trend is waning.
Well the treadmills as we saw on sharktank are having problems getting funding and rightfully so its hard to invest in a product whos success hinges on the success of another unreleased product I’m sure they’ll improve once oculous has been out at retail for 2-3 years
virtualizer has 8 days to go on kickstarter and has already made 50 thousand more than the kickstarter goal
and omni made 1 million 100 thousand plus which is 750 times the kickstarter goal
they are getting more money than they deserve, but thats just me being harsh; I personally think virtualizer is wayyyyy over priced for something that looks cheaper to make than its competition
Either this is a timed-exclusive that will last for a few months to a full year, or it’ll get the Dead Rising treatment (PS4/PC owners have to wait for the sequel).
It could be the latter since Phil Spencer kept talking about how he didn’t buy the IP in perpetuity, and they keep saying “the deal” has a duration but not specifically the game’s exclusivity. Maybe I’m wrong, but sometimes you gotta watch the wording in their statements.
He’s a Ubisoft guy, he’s automatically going to boast and brag about a game of his boosting the existing console-demographic of the Wii U.
So not only are Ubisoft a bunch of moneygrubbing dicks, they are also delusional as well…
FUCK UBISOFT.
Ain’t nobody buying a Wii U this holiday for goddamn Just Dance, and you know it.
Millions of people have been waiting to pit Mega Man against Mario against Sonic against Pac-Man for decades.
Capcom doesn’t need to revive an old IP. What Capcom needs is a new IP. A game doesn’t need 2 billion sequels. Devil May Cry would have survived as a trilogy. Continuing a series for the purpose of money means that the series will take a nosedive in quality.
With a new IP, they could try new things, without worrying about pissing fans (ie: po) off for not keeping everything exactly the same. Of course some series like megaman lends itself to many re-imaginings so it works as a series, but resident evil should have just finished off it’s story in a trilogy. Devil May Cry should have stayed a trilogy. Its why sequel hell doesn’t work.
Why would they do that? a new IP is a gamble as you won’t know how much it would sell (Capcom are very aware of this).
While if they would revive a old IP they know that there are people out there already that would be interested , but not even that is enough for them.
They look for quick and efficient cashgrabs and that’s all it comes down to when we are talking about capcom in this day and age.
Current gen Onimusha game? Current gen Dino Crisis? MEGAMAN? List goes oooooooooooon and ooooooooooooon…
DMC2 was Capcom trying to make DMC “casual friendly” and give it “mainstream appeal” and it ended badly, you would think they would have learned from that with DmC.
