Also i am taking a page out of your book and i am choosing not to support future capcom releases.
I’ve lost interest in the RE series anyways , and their other IPs do very little for me nowadays.
Weren’t you just advertising how much you loved DumbDungPhoenixWrightRipoff or whatever it’s called? I would have thought that the Ace Attorney games would have you on lock?
On an unrelated aside, po is all about good presentation of (I’m not even sorry anymore) tropes and themes like dragons that fit anywhere in the lore, and stuff like that.
Whether it’s random or not doesn’t matter if it’s done well enough, and therein lies the problem, because few games today actually do that!
I think it’s time to let that go Po. The game was a commercial failure and no tweaks to it’s sales forecast made it a success. It might have killed Ninja Theory chances with working with another big publisher. You’ve “won”. No need to continue to hold on to this grudge.
It plays perfectly fine on the PSP/Vita, and its not bad on the 3DS. Controls aren’t the issue, but the graphical and size limitations are. The games would be so much bigger and look so much better if they were on PS3/4.
It’s simple, Japan’s market is more geared to portables than consoles. Being portable is how Monster Hunter got as big as it did. Monster Hunter only has a cult following at best in the West. Quick releases and console ports ain’t in the cards for us.
So after watching two different playthroughs of the silent hills demo, I think it may be a bit over complex. Markiplier spent two hours figuring out what to do and even got around to picking up photo pieces which didn’t actually do anything, but he never actually beat it. The other guy mindlessly walked through doors and got to the ending. Maybe mark is just an idiot. Idk.
I also liked the Kojima style, “do gameplay things the way it isn’t normally done” kinda thing. Like how one of the photo pieces is hidden in the brightness settings in the options menu. Most people wouldn’t figure that out alone. Almost like the “plug the second controller port to fight psycho mantis” situation but not as cool
Never cared for Monster Hunter but yes that franchise is solid for selling. Nintendo just needs to throw money at companies to get what they lack to sell systems. On the other hand they dug their own grave on 3rd parties.
