Dragons are awesome… Dragonite is one of my favorite Pokémon.
However, this industry has a bad case of monkey-see-monkey-do… Niggas saw how popular the Souls titles and Dragon’s Dogma were, and now everybody trying to get their sword and sorcery on… of course, the ubiquitous stare-down-the-barrel-of-a-gun genre is as strong as ever… and thanks to The Walking Dead Game and TV show, Zombies are back in full effect.
I can’t wait for that FPS dungeon crawler with time travel mechanics so I can FPS slash dragons, travel to the future to shoot terrorists before they unleash the zombie plague, culminating in a final battle against the reanimated carcass of the dragon I slayed in Stage One…

Actually… that sounds kinda dope… Somebody get on that shit right now!*
have you seen the multiplayer trailer? shit looks fucking bonkers. I’m hype for the multiplayer alone. I like the combat and main character’s design though
Don’t try to make sense of it…just absorb it all. Yes…that includes the rainbow colored chickens.
Blizzard: MS said 900p for Diablo on Xbone was unnacceptable and was told to bump it to 1080p
4 paragraphs down. So apparently the Xbone version of diablo 3 ended up sacrificing consistent framerate because MS didn’t want to take the L on the resolution
Some employees of the developer for Infamous have unfortunately been sucker punched by lay offs
If memory serves correctly, I am almost completely certain that area is from RE4. It looks exactly like an area in the later portion of the game after the church and all that. I think a regenerator comes through that door in the middle of the hallway. I just remember the staircase and the iron bar door way.
Im down for a second Revelations. Now that it wont be a DS port, hopefully it will keep the gameplay of the first and absolutely none of the bugs. Maybe even a longer game with more diverse areas. The first Revelations almost had a Watch Dogs effect on me. Where I almost have fun and then something ruins it. The bugs and game design failures werent as obvious so I had fun with it anyway. I also liked that it was mostly single player.
Also, dat Yokai Watch is coming to the states. YW2 is Level 5s most successful japan game to date… YW2 sold 1.2 mil in 4 days, and over 2 mil in less than a month. Pokemon type game for 3DS.
Nintendo needs to convince L5 to hook one up for the Wii U while it is hot. Combine that with the amiibo toys and let the money flow in.
Anyone here play Puppeteer or Brothers? Im slowly trying to knock out digital games I have gotten to free up drive space on the ps3. I have looked into Puppeteer and it seems very cool. And I heard Brothers is a good story game. But just wanted to hear from you guys experience if you played either
I have and it still looks bad. If you were to tell me the same people responsible for the Xbox NGs and DOA made these, I would’ve laughed. I know it’s been through development he’ll, but dear Lord.
I had to google Dragon’s Dogma. Same feeling.
I hope Azure Striker makes its way to the Wii U as well, with the treatment Mighty Switch Force got.
Dragon’s Dogma is great.
One of the best games of this generation. The game redefined how boss battles should be on western type rpgs.
Plus it has one of the most interesting class system.
I swear to god there was something along the lines. Maybe not a full blown prison. It mightve just been some kind of fortified building or holding area before Las Plagas. It’s been a minute since I played RE4. Probably about a few months. But I seen that picture and got instant deja vu. As someone who has clairvoyant dreams, that shit means something when it happens. I might play it all the way through just to find that area and screenshot it. It might not be as exact as my gut is telling me it is but it will definitely be close.
In other news, because of Games with Gold on XBL, I finally played Dishonored. Before and after the game came out I just didnt care. Nothing about it caught my eye. Now that I’m playing I’m sensing much Half Life inspiration here. The way cutscenes/set pieces work, the overall atmosphere of overbearing government eyes, the ambience of just exploring somewhere, it all just feels like somebody played HL2 and dedicated themselves to getting as close as they could. Though I will say that The Heart is single handedly the creepiest and most intriguing thing I’ve ever held in a video game. I love this thing. I wish I actually had it.
I was just playing RE4 like an hour ago and I think I just ran into the spot you’re mentioning. It just looks like that but I think there’s no staircase and there is a regenerator waiting there (you can just hear the motherfucker).
You just reminded me we’ll never get Condemed 3 in Peter Griffin voice ya bastard!
RE6 sells millions while Condemed 2 one of the best games of last generation sells 15,000. I know @Rampage was the only one who played it and didn’t like it as much the first since the story went off the rails a bit, but I loved both equally.
