The Tomb Raider Salt, lol.

I was just thinking about how Konami should REmake the first Silent Hill. Not digging the Hollywood input since the first and second one were perfect, but whatever sells I guess.

Quantum Break looks awesome , but lame at the same time. The time stop effects are “OMFGBBQ!!1!” levels of cool, but the gameplay itself looked like something I would see in GTA or some other ‘AAA’. Never felt so hot and meh at the same time.

Bloodborne looks cool as well.

It’s cool that Tear Away is coming to the PS4. Wish the same would happen to Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Still leaning towards Xbone over PS4, but more than happy with WiiU.

People actually getting excited Kojima’s name was pasted onto a Silent Hill reveal trailer? Either this is another one of Kojima’s annual troll, one he’s been doing since at least the MGS2 bait and switch or Konami wanted to attach one of the few highly visible and respected people left at the company to a franchise that has been shit since the PS2 and are likely trying to revive.

Kojima was credited for Lords of Shadow too, he barely did shit with that game.

I’m genuinely excited to play a third-person shooter with an over-emphasis on “story” and scripted events!

I cannot wait to play through a hand-holding tutorial level with voice actors who get paid more than the programmers who actually make the game possible telling me how to play the game, despite the overly simple controls and auto-aim mechanics making it nearly impossible for me to fail!

There has been such a drought in this genre, and I’m glad that a next-gen console is embracing this classic, yet under-utilized gameplay style.

I am not sure why people would be that excited for a Kojima Silent Hill unless they like plot holes the size of Alaska and the most convoluted story lines you can think of. I love me some Metal Gear do not get me wrong, but the guy can not write a coherent story to save his damn life.

Square considered the first Tomb Raider a failure on the sales front.

Meaning money spent vs money earned made it not worth it

This TR isnt expected to launch for another year in some change meaning it its still in development

If M$ paid Crystal it can only mean one thing

Square did not want to pony up for the full cost of development

M$ stepped in and helped them

This is obviously part of that deal

If it does make it to other platforms it means they helped out with development cost too just not to the degree M$ has

or it means that there wasnt enough of a gap in funds to leverage complete exclusivity

Either way just like with Bayonetta 2 and Nintendo, this game probably wouldn’t even be in development were it not for M$

Tomb Raider being X1 exclusive is pretty shitty since the series started on PC and Playstation and outside of a couple handheld titles, have always had a PC/Playstation version.

And the game’s only considered a failure because SE are morons that spent more money on the game’s marketing that they could’ve brought in Angelina Jolie and made a third Tomb Raider movie. 6.5 million global sales should never be considered a failure but I guess in today’s fucked up industry, it is.
