Well to be fair, REmake is anecdotally one of those games people have long been port-begging for. Easy money for Capcpom (seeing how early screenshots seem to indicate they’re just cheaply post-processing the original pre-rendered backgrounds). Makes way more sense than that rumored DmC Ultimate Edition, though I still wouldn’t put it past them to greenlight that too :razzy:

Yeah since Capcom is near broke, they are trying their hardest to rake in the easy cash.

I agree Taito. Clearly the guys who who been telling us that have studied to be qualified to say things like that. They aren’t clearly butthurt fans who think that Ultra is capcom releasing the same game again despite being an expansion for a game disc from 2010

So I’m still in my “new game experience” with DMC4. I beat it on human, and devil hunter so far, about to start son of sparda. Did anybody else have issues getting past the first demon boss at first on stage 20 on bloody palace? That lightning dude beforehand lands a lot of cheap shots on me. Then when I get to fire demon he does that charge move that is a pain in the ass to dodge about 5 times in a row. I do better as Dante running Gilgamesh in Dark Slayer style. Havent been able to best him with either character though

just don’t let the blitz hurt you. as for the fire blast i just switch to trickster stance and use the trick teleport to move through it

I never wouldve thought of the trickster thing. I only use SwordMaster, RoyalGuard, and Darkslayer. I completely forget I have a style with air dashes and shit lol

EDIT: The demon fight is complete bullshit. He just spams charge and you cant ever get a shot in. He was nothing like this in the actual game. Bloody Palace is fuckign stupid.

But im playing Dante tho. Game is easy as hell with Nero. Devil Bringer is God Tier and the Buster OHKO’s some enemies.

I beat the demon boss in BP, two waves after I got two straight stages that had the lightning guy. Lightning guy is cheap as fuck. You can only break his armor with upwards of 8 charge shots, you can drop half of his health and then you have to wait for him to die because you cant drop his armor anymore. Fighting him isnt even hard, but it’s broken as fuck under a timer

Interesting news today. According to a report by the MSN Sankei, Square Enix’s main office in Tokyo and related personnel were raided on August 5 by the Osaka district police due to a copyright suit filed by SNK Playmore.

The claim alleges that SNK Playmore’s intellectual properties were being infringed by Square Enix’s publishing division in their popular arcade manga “High-score Girl”. Police officials will be looking through confiscated evidence and will be conducting interrogations to the editor as well as the author, Rensuke Oshikiri.

“High-score Girl” is a love comedy manga that takes place in Japan during the 1990s and features many scenes with fighting games which was the big trend at the time. SNK Playmore claims that the manga has over 100 cutscenes featuring characters from their games including KOF and Samurai Shodown. The end pages of the books have © printed with SNKPlaymore’s company name, making it look as though they were published under permission.

SNK Playmore realized the infringement when anime production for High-score Girl began in summer of 2013 and its production company contacted them for authorization on the use of their characters and music. The company filed suit this May.

Comparing MK8’s sales to its earlier counterparts(especially the Wii one) is kind of unfair, considering that the Wii was a runaway success, whilst the WiiU has been struggling since day one.
The WiiU didn’t start moving units big time UNTIL MK 8 dropped… So MK is actually getting people to buy WiiUs…
