Persona 3 did it poorly, imo.
Persona 4 did it all so much better.
P4 is just The newest and most likely the most popular Persona game so the fighting game just got named after it, but the other two games I’d give it as dumb milk attempts.
You are talking about Persona Q ? If so that is a dumb attempt to label something as a dumb milk attempt.
Nintendo owners have always wanted Persona as Persona has always been playstation exclusive.

I’ve only played P4, but that one definitely doesn’t fit that description. It’s damn near a perfect RPG.

I’m on the same boat. The more I play through P4A’s story mode the more it upsets me that it’s the canon sequel to P4. Not fond of the cheery picking the game done with the canon.
Most of those came out 4 years or more after the release of the original game. They didn’t even strike while the iron was hot when they released those. P3 has more merch than P4 does.

P4 spin offs are all of the same standard of quality as P4
P4 had a super obscure release (2 years into a new console cycle on the older hardware) so its an actual cult classic unlike FF7 that was always lauded
I think right where were at is good for the Persona fanbase if they keep dropping P4 merch and spin offs and merch AFTER P5 drops were gonna have issues
The best thing out of the FF7 series was Crisis Core, IMO. The main game is overhyped, DoC sucked, and the rest are forgettable.
