A couple of days ago, I received a shipment in the store with fresh copies of megaman zx and zx advent. They had the case, the instruction booklets, and they were sealed new even though they were labeled used. I snagged them with the quickness and started up ZX since I hadn‛t played the games before yet. Enjoying it so far cept for one thing…I don’t dig the map system in this game. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been spoiled by Super Metroid and the games before it but I feel there isn’t enough info to tell me where I am in relation to the areas you go into. I figure there must be something I’m missing to make travel easier so does any one have any advice?
The map system is easily the worst thing about ZX. It makes navigation a bitch. Remembering the stage layout is the only way to get around that problem. Thankfully the map system got overhaul for Advent.

I got ZX when it came out, played it for a few hours, then came back to it months later and totally had no idea what to do or where to go, that map system ruined the game for me I won’t bother ever going back to it, besides ZX Advent and many other Meganan games are better anyways,

Thanks for the heads up guys. Wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me. It just tells me to ‘go to area whatever because they got biometal there and stuff’ and I’m just Me: ‘K…lemme just pull out the map here and…??? Where the hell is this place? Can I at least get a hint on where?’ Game: ‘NOPE!!! =D’. I’m all for open ended and what not but at least give me a map and some type of sense of direction so I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time as I’m running around. I’m glad to hear some of you say that ZX advent fixes this.
For those who care the latest PS3 system Update made it so you can synch DS4s to your PS3 wirelessly. If you’re like me and think the PS3 controller is a piece of a shit, then this is fantastic news because the PS4 controller is quite good and comfy. Just register the controller as a Bluetooth device in the options menu :tup:
