Nicely done… I really wish I could finish the artwork on my vewlix slim, but I just can’t get the CP right…

My solidworks to psd conversion always ends up a few mm off.

I swear I had acquired this graphic at some point while collecting info/images for building a Vewlix. I’m searching my computer; if I find it I’l let you know.

I like 'em! It’ll look better/more complete once the coin slot and ‘insert coin’ sticker are on. I want to make the coin slot functional as well.

I’ll make a final decision on whether to go with this depending on whether they cover ok.

It looks better with them, IMHO. There is unused space without 'em that shows that something’s missing. Would be good for a volume control or a dust rag inside to keep the panel looking “spick and span”. :slight_smile:

Thanks emphatic, it’ll just be ‘dead wood’ though :slight_smile: The main reason I’m doing it is to make it look like the original cp. Had a go at covering one of them, came out ok’ish but not completely happy so will redo.

I was wondering if you can share where you are ordering the coin slot from. I was thinking about doing the same thing for my kraylix. I would rather go with the vewlix coin slot and order a door cover for the hole thats on the base of the kraylix

Well I got bored of my gaming computer desk and decided to ‘Vewlix’ it. It needs to be compact due to the limited space.

It started it’s humble existence as one of these:

I made a monitor stand, disassembled the base from the height adjustable stand it cam with and integrated it - the original base was taking too much room on the available real estate:

It’s a mess at the moment - needs to be smoothed off with car body filler and painted. Not really achieving very much other than adding a little more space and the looks…
