but seriously, /b/ shits up everything for the rest of the site (granted /b/ gets more traffic than all other parts of the site combined). they are the ones giving 4chan their popularity as well as their unpopularity. i don’t see the Food & Cooking section running around public areas like dipshits in Guy Fawkes masks. Science & Math aren’t sending camwhores nude photos to said camwhores’ parents. personally i don’t find the public stuff funny. camwhores are asking for it though

that’s another thing i don’t get. like, why do people think the site is a kiddie porn repository? some guy under a proxy posts some CP on a forum that gets 20,000 unique hits A MONTH and has almost 400 MILLION posts since it started in 2003. dudes on other forums hear about CP being posted and act like that’s what the site is about. “i hope everybody from 4chan gets killed” like it’s a complete impossibility that some dude couldn’t just jump on their forums and start posting CP. like Investment Banker/Banking Investor, an infamous pedophile/chan troll, doesn’t post on SRK.
They are PAST retarded. They won’t maintain their phone lines, which cause dsl drops every time it rains. They’d rather just pay the fines rather than spening the money to repair shit. They laid off thousands of line repair techs, at least a thousand this month alone. They outsourced their dsl tech support to fuckin’ INDIA (those fuckers are absolutely useless). I’ve been with them for damn near a decade (as long as I’ve been a member here), but I’m ready to take my business to Bright House. I don’t give a shit about 4chan. I’m just pissed about the rainy day phone drops. I just got service back this afternoon thanks to the whim of my connection. Shit’s been out since Saturday afternoon.
It would be awesome if other ISP’s followed suit. But even better is if some 4chan posters were blocked from srk. Now that would be something I could actually give a shit about. 4chan and fucking Gaia.

Fucking Verizon, let alone 4chan. They blocked the port for Outlook around 2-3 moths ago without notification, and I have to find out from a third party that they did and found the new port to use.
Count me in as another guy who doesn’t know what 4chan is. As far as I can deduce from my random ramblings on the internet, 4chan appears to be a massive message board with almost no rules/regulations, resulting in a huge number of people acting like immature idiotic morons. And apparently, all of this results in them dictating cultural internet trends and MEMEs somehow. Although, to be honest, the concept of zero regulation on an internet forum seems pretty scary.
I have a 4chan add-on for Firefox, but I typically stay out of /b/. /sports/ holds the majority of my attention, but even that is sometimes ruined by Americans and Europeans arguing over their hatreds of soccer & football, respectively.
I went in the film section of 4chan, where some of dem anonymous bitches talked about being turned on by fucking ARMPIT HAIR… thanks for making me curious enough to go here. I hate you all, I will not be returning to 4chan ever again. That place is scary like CK described it as.
