OK this has been bugging me for a while. Does anybody know what Ryu is saying when he throws a uncharged fireball after activating V Trigger? Everytime I listen to it I’m hearing “Daigo” over and over and I’m guessing that has to be a mistake, right? This reminds me of how SF2 Ryu sounded like he was saying “all you can” when performing his shoyruken.
To me it sounds rai-to. I know rai means lightning (雷). Dunno about the rest lol
@Rugalitarian, the one @Angerfist62 posted. It was in the Necalli thread. There is a lot of good stuff to be seen. Looks like Crimson Terror is a really good frame trap setup. Matador was also being used to AA close jump ins. Of course, as usual, j.HP is gdlk. V.trigger looks like it does not beat out fireballs via brute force. Looks like we’ll have to jump v.trigger them, which I’m more than ok with. V.trigger looks like it will strictly be a combo extender of sorts.
Necalli also looks really slick. I can’t wait to play him, too. In fact, I think most everyone looks good so far. I want to play Vega, obviously, and try Necalli, Bison, and Ryu.
He says “Raidou”. Google Translate tell me it means “Thunder Road” (which doesn’t make sense, of course)
So he’s saying the name of the boss from Dead or Alive 1 over and over.
