Also, looks like some of his attacks have a nice blood effect when they land. Awesome.

I’m not Vega player, but holy shit, does he look awesome.
Can’t wait to see dat beautiful win pose…
If his c.HP and his special moves aren’t shit again, he’s gonna be a force.
Wonder what his V stuff is.
it’s been noted that you can’t pick it if dropped
my guess is you can drop it only when it’s sheathe (cause it hangs on the belt) which looks like the ‘rushdown’ stance
It’s explicity said in the capcom breakdown. Once you drop it, you lose it for good.
Rushdown has been a weakness since SF2. Even in that game, he was weak to cross up pressure and on the knock down, but if someone got a bit too in your face ST did have i-frames and worked as a reversal, so you could get them off you if they weren’t respecting your space.
I’m so happy. You guys have no idea. To play a modern game with Vega in it that doesn’t have focus attack destroying his neutral and long range means I can have fun again.
What are all of the gaming events between now and release in which Capcom could conceivably reveal a new character?
All you vega players that were complaining he dropped his claw in the general thread, did you guys pick up that in SFV he loses it definetly and can’t pick it up on the same round?
With all the stuff he got I’m fine with it. Also it fits with SFV’s theme “you got hit, sucks don’t it?”

V-Reversal: Backflip
V-Skill: Dodge and Counter move
V-Trigger: Access to a rose throwing move that does a follow attack on hit. Can be used offensively and defensively.
Least that’s according to the trailer and information on front page.
Better hope these V Reversals are good enough for launch. People like Vega and Nash gonna need em.
That v-trigger could theoretically be a full screen jump punish. It’s seth’s u1 again.
All I’ll say about Vega is that it’s nice to use another utility V-trigger and not another power up state.
speculations about his v-meter bars? imho he’s gonna get 2 bars, v-trigger looks strong but it’s just that thrown rose
The only returning character I wanted were bison and vega. This game is shaping up to be my dream SF. I’m hyped beyond belief right now.

Same. And to top it off, we got Necalli, too. No Focus Attack, too. Soooo happy. Oh, and he got a dodge skill, like I wanted a few months back.
He looks good. I’m not usually a fan but I’ll definitely try him out here
While all of you celebrate Vega’s inclusion into V, I will begin to prepare my body.
I will be the best Mask&Claw in V.

What if it’s just 1 bar. That could be scary as fuck…

ahah i was thinking about that as well, who knows!

V-skill is a dodge you can choose to attack out of with a attack that knocks down. V-trigger he tosses a rose and follows up with attack if it hits. No idea on the v-reversal.
That’s right, he now has the ability to sheathe his claw during battle in exchange for new moves, such as a command grab, as well as new attack properties, greatly changing the way he approaches each fight. Knowing when to toggle between the two styles will be the key to success, and it also allows for new combo possibilities.
Conversely, Vega will no longer be able to pick up his claw once it’s knocked off, so knowing how to fight without the claw is a must! Players who enjoy tricky movement and the technical challenge of switching between claw/no-claw fighting styles will definitely find the beauty in Vega’s play style.
Well, fuck, you gotta be sure to evade them attack well or else you’re done for
