Vega Combos & Glitches

I really hate the situational combos that only work on certain members of the cast.

Horribly. The Vega players I’ve been in contact with regarding this technique have had zero luck getting it to work (Tatsu & Arlieth). So, it might be a while before I’m able to unveil this thing, if at all. :shake:

p.s. If I can’t confirm it by the end of next week, I’ll let the secret out.

If it’s something we could possibly help with testing it out with, I can’t wait. I’m definitely willing to burn a few hours a day to find something groundbreaking for Vega. =P

I need something to use against jump ins, and i just want to make sure i’m reading it right

He prob meant jumping in with hp, then c.mk -> rh scarlet terror.

hi, im new. my question is kind of newbesque but yeah…

so here it comes: what punch or kick can i combo into crouching medium punch. i love that move, but i would like to extend it after confirming since linking is easier than chaining when it comes down to confirming.

Good news, guys!!! I wasn’t sure if anyone had posted this yet, but I found a solution to at least a few of the characters that ^ combo whiffs on. For everyone that can get hit by the cr. MP -> EX Wall Dive, use that, obviously. Unfortunately, there are some characters that simply cannot get hit by the EX Wall Dive no matter how perfectly you time it. That said, there are ALSO some characters that won’t get hit by EX Wall Dive after a cr. MP but WILL after a cr. LP! Here is the list that I put together today after testing it on every, single character:

good, thats kinda what i thought. i have been testing this possibility, but i want to know how youre testing it. i get most luck when the ex-wall dive hits an airborne opp. and they’re close to a wall. the barcelona gets both slashes and i actually land in time to get the ultra only i fear i’m not fast enough, i usually fly right over them. suggestions?

Sweet! I was actually trying this out today. Couldn’t get it to work, but I plan to try it more later.

Hmm. Hopefully this one is able to connect (unlike Scarlet Terror to Ultra), sounds like it’s possible. I’ll give this a try myself sometime tomorrow, but if anybody has any success definitely let us know how it goes. Bebop, any luck on your end?
