You’re right, the BHC looks as if it picks them up off the ground, but I think in that case your opponent hasn’t actually “hit the ground” per se, similar to what Dhalsim can do with his Inferno.
As far as chaining the Ultra goes: There was a period of about a week here where everyone was trying out new things in that area. The DF. HK definitely does not work, as well as just about everything else. Positioning wise you actually have more than enough time to chain a BHC off a HK or EX Scarlet Terror, the only problem is they can’t actually chain together, which stinks.
EX RCF is identical to HP RCF except that it goes through fireballs and costs you EX instead of earning you some. It does 0 damage more than HP RCF. Only use EX RCF if you’re positive you opponent is about to throw a projectile and never as part of a combo.
funny thing is, he cant. it seems as if every other move wont connect with anything else but light rcf, but canceled c.HP does! i duno why, just try it out and let me know. i discovered that one just yesterday and since i dont have a ps3 myself, i cant verify right now. from my yesterdays pov .D it is a combo that, yet very slow looking, leaves no time for reversal.

So it means if I jump in with j.hp, then cr.hp (cancel) -> hp.rcf, the opponent can’t do anything if the first hit connects and I link it to the very end?

i dont’ think so Sasaki, j.hp and cr hp doesn’t connect seems like. if anyone has this video that would be great. I know j.hp and close range st hp does connect that can connect with light rcf. but i always try to do the j.hp, close st.hp link to cr mp, and cancel into fba for izuna drop. But since i am nto that great, usually cannot complete the crmp cancel to fba.
But because of damage scaling, the ex fba izuna drop’s damage will be scaled down significantly. other than stun points plus some style point, i don’t see too much of a benefit wasting the super meter. for damage that = a mp.
I was just playing around with Vega (haven’t used him in a while) and did a j.fp into slide. Figured the slide would combo but I just slid right through my opponent. :wtf: It worked out for me though because I caught him off guard with a EX Barcelona after a df+rh.
It’s a shame that Scarlet Terror can’t combo to Ultra. You’d really think that if the light Scarlet Terror can combo into EX, that it could combo Ultra as well.
The spacing/timing on it is really pretty simple too. Oh well…

yes it works. j.hp - c.hp canceled into hard rcf (its close hp not crouching, u gotta cancel after the first hit, not after the second). does 268 dmg with hp and 6 hit. its weird, but i can only do 7 hit with ex.RCF

i experimented with that yesterday, and it seems as if u cant connect anything after hitting him with fierce in the air. any move will whiff when done too early. you can only hit him when he is already on the gorund and then he can block anyway. i hit with slide after j.hp in the air a couple of times online, but that only works, if he is too lazy to block.

also tried *.ST and *.RCF, cant hit him unless he already touched the ground.
FA lvl 2 --> dash --> cr. MK when they’re about to fall (juggles) --> RCF (rolls under and hits on the other side) i don’t know if you can FADC when the RCF hits
Dunno if this has been posted elsewhere but i noticed a Crazy glitch involving Sagat the other day in Training (was trying the crossup exFBA). If you are close to sags and slide when he’s getting up…you’ll slide thru him. I’ve been messing around with the timing, so Far I’ve created a decent mixup out of it.
Knockdown (you’re crowding the wakeup), slide (goes thru), still holding downback from the slide, is now Downforward+HK, exFBA. Kinda neat if they they to punish w/ uppercut or just get confused and block…that generates tickthrow.

Doesn’t work on Ryu who has a similiar “stand up” style move to get off the ground.
Well there is a glitch where you jump in and hit deep then slide through. Maybe I’m playing particularly skillful people, but it seems like those fucking uppercuts and cannon spikes come out on whatever side you’re on.
