Okay so, Sibladeko has found a bunch of other changes than just what’s in the changelog.

He explained that the Eri change actually had something to do with kanae’s 6D ghost assist which made one of Eri’s moves unblockable/untechable. But the change fixed the properties so that you can always tech so it’s no longer an issue.

Sibladeko also mentioned that Ayane’s arrow hitbox seemed larger, and that Eri can’t combo 236aba into 6B anymore, among other things, and none of those changes are mentioned in the change log.

I took another look at the changelog to try and decipher some of the moonspeak…

  • Holding left and right simultaneously will cause your SP and Guard bar gauges to rapidly decrease. Obviously this was meant to be useful in practice mode where you can set up situational Calcium Break combos without having to chip their guard bar down every time. Or for decreasing your own meter so you can check on how much meter a combo builds.

  • This one has something to do with kanae’s 3D. I think what it’s trying to say is that if you’re knocked into the pit on block you can still jump out of it. Unfortunately google/babel/jimbreen’s all butcher this so I can’t tell what it’s saying. But I tested it and you can jump out of pit on wakeup, and if you’re pushed into it on block, but you can’t jump out if you’re hit into it. That kinda makes the dog a fuck of a lot more useful than the pit IMO.

  • Practice mode in versus mode is done by pressing F on the 2P side and 1P side. It will refill your lifebar and super meter. Pressing it more times refills your support/assist meter.

  • The Haruka change is just as I mentioned before, can’t cancel backstep.

  • This one has something to do with Natalia’s “rozarionbasuta”, which I think says it either hits or can be hit the moment it lands/touches the ground or something, but I can’t tell what it’s really saying.

  • This one sounds like the damage on one of Natalia’s moves is increased with down is pressed at the correct time. Maybe her rozarion buster? Dunno…

-she cancels her mid-pile charge by holding 2, maybe it increased cancel recovery or does it specifically say damage?

Babel fish translates it as "When timing the :d: is input well, attack power rise"
Google translates it as “:d: timely offense and up to enter the”

I’m looking at it in JimBreen’s and it basically says:
“Timing” / ":d: input " / “offensive ability” / “surge or boost”

It doesn’t even say what move it’s for, but I assume it’s for the Rozarion Buster because that’s what the previous entry is about. I think it’s safe to say that it’s saying if you time a downwards input well then damage is increased. But for what, I don’t know, probably the Buster.

Though doesn’t she say “timing charge” for one of her moves? That could be what “taimingu-yoku” is.

Well, the last hit of her new buster animation ends in a downward spike with her pilebunker, that might be what it’s talking about

Thing to note:

  • The Eri player “SugoiNoIkuyo” was a total beast. Really good blockstrings and combos, intense stuff.
  • Saki is a dirty whore

Nice Vids. Impressive players. They have pretty good mind games. The Lilith player was pretty tricky. Eri player as said above applied great pressure. And heck alot of them are tricky.

OK figured out the stupid Natalia thing, took 5 seconds in training mode, go me.

Yes it has everything to do with her 360. If you tap down right as she mashes them into the ground there will be a red spark and she will smash them again, then she will jump up with them as normal but the cross behind her will also be red instead of blue. Damage increases a tiny bit. And by tiny I mean tiny, it’s like a jab’s worth of damage increase. Lame.

I messed around with Juliet a lot after watching those. Originally I planned never to use her because I thought she was crap by comparison to the other three, but the key to Juliet is that her attacks are HUGE and they HURT. She’s not combo heavy like Eko or shenanigans like Kanae but I like her damage.

Also, any idea if it’s possible to select the hidden assist (you can see her silhouette if you highlight the random assist option)?

Renamed Ver1.03b, little late because was having so much fun with melty aa and Blazblue haha…

Yes it is possible to select the hidden assist but you have to be very lucky. She’s got all the summon moves of the final boss plus a weaker version of her sweep laser super. She’s very very overpowered for an assist and can do very unfairl lockdown in the corner using 5D butterflies.

I mean like, actually manually pick her rather than randoming it. But I guess not if she’s overpowered.

You can try setting windows compatibility mode to 95 in the properties of the exe, but I doubt that will actually fix it. If the game loads fine but the option menu doesn’t open that’s kind of bizarre. You’re running in windowed mode or fullscreen?

i was in windowed mode but not i clicked on full screen and i can’t get out lmao how do i?

alt+enter should do it.

F4 should also work.

ok i got out and game works now lol is there any place i can see what all the options do i see a couple of them on the wiki.

I’m running this on my Vista machine on a home theatre setup. When I full sceen it to my HDTV, I get this weird flickering on the right 30% of the screen, not to mention the image bleeds off the edge so I can’t see the special bars at the bottom. This is weird since my desktop is pixel mapped to the screen and does not bleed out at all.

Anyone else get this or know how to solve it?

Loving this game, not taking it too seriously but just having fun with it and enjoying the sprite work.
