Well, since this thread is gonna get a huge surge thanks to GGPO, I’m gonna drop in my questions to beat the rush:
Can anyone give me a basic breakdown of Q-Bee? I skimmed the thread, so I’m aware she’s really good and apparently full of bullshit, but I can’t manage a whole lot. So far I’ve got abuse the fuck out of IAD and all the assorted tips on the wiki, but I’ve got no general game plan as it stands. Basically I just hope they block the wrong way and try to mash out a chain combo.
I especially have problems with getting pinned down in the corner and general werewolf shenanigans.
And finally: Am I nuts, or do characters build meter at different rates?
EDIT: Oh yeah, one other thing: what determines the angle of an air dash? I’ve noticed several times that sometimes Q-Bee will air dash straight or even upwards.
Q-bee’s airdash is homing. It homes in on your opponent. Qbee has no good reversals… Just try to guard cancel or tech hit and get the fuck out of there. Rush down with IAD mk if it hits dp do cr.mk into grabby move if it doesn’t hit deep go for a chain of some sort into more IAD bullshit, use the bubble super to pin people… RUSH RUSH RUSH. BUZZZZZZ
yeah there isnt as much to Q bee is i thought there would be, but its effective. i usually find myself with a lot of meter, and jedahsmin taught me her and told me to spam the honeyballs to chip to death :P.
and her anti airs suck so yea…just get away then get close for the rush again :D.
and does anyone know if Q bee or felicia can split bodies in half on deaths? who can and who cant? and what to do to split bodies in half?

GGPO is lovely. Just sometimes that shit pisses me off at crucial points of me getting a win then I end up losing. Not having my dark force come out for example to escape rushdown. I’ve seen a lot of Anti-Air Morrigans, spamming Demitris, turtling Talbains, Trap Rikuos, Rare BBHoods, 1 Jedah besides me, and 2 other sasquatchs besides me. I am the only Zabel I think.

So I realize I never got around to posting those mi-ka-do videos I was talking about a few months ago, I had a bunch of computer problems…
There’s still a chance I’ll eventually get around to it, but to spoil it there is some absolutely disgusting Zabel player who doesn’t lose a single match in the entire DVD, which contains:
The tournament
Casual after the tournament (Shou, the Bulleta player, wins six games or something… then the Zabel, I forget his name, seriously wins another 30).
Race to 10 between some amazing Jedah player (I don’t recognize the name, it’s just three kanji I didn’t bother to look up) and Nasu the Sasquatch player.
I’m not sure if it’s just the player or what but Zabel looks like he has a completely broken set of offensive options. I never really understood why he was ranked so high until I saw these videos. Also, I believe there were zero Liliths, zero Felicias and only one Morrigan during casual (Ohnuki, who doesn’t enter the tournament).

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed too. It was kind of surprising, since usually vids of her are pretty common… I guess maybe she’s just not popular at mi-ka-do. Thank god I play other characters too or I’d have felt stupid for shelling out the money.
I guess I have to get on GGPO now huh, apparently local Internet connections are chapped ass though… hopefully it doesn’t matter.
I might have to stop playing for a while. I was having too much fun taunting like a million times, and throwing random dps.

for those who didnt know, c.mp is great. stops quatch’s dash overheads cold, and other stuff. it hits whatever c.hp misses, great anti air. s.lk to a lesser extent, you dont wanna trade too much with that. i use the occassionaly dp kick too.
i dont know where to use her meter at, i usually end up in a match with 7 or 8 when done. i just use dark force pressures whenever i knock down. its hard to hit confirm c.mp, s.mp, c.mk, or close s.mk xx hcf+pp for me on a single hit, so i only use it after a jump in. but yeah other than that i use dark force. any felicia pros need to step up and drop dat info! :tup:
I’d be interested in seeing this. I can’t find a single move/button to anti air sasquatch with. Jedah seems like ass so far, hopefully this can change my mind
