Nup, you can’t brock dat shit.

nu whey. one tyme, ey brocked et.

random tournament was fun ^^

I was reading over the 1st page and talks about the system. theres one thing which i think isnt mentioned(maybe it was and i didnt really understand). but its the ability to reverse chain(?) after a whiffed move. EX: with bulleta j.mp j.mk(whiff) j.lp j.lk . Not alot of characters can take advantage of it i think but those that can, make for some pretty scary stuff.

I touched on it. dunno if someone warped it

Can’t Talbain do it?

Everybody can do it, its just a matter of coming up with applications for it.

I use it some with Sas and occasionally with lei

Here is a basically application of the reverse chain. Say I’m Felicia, and I do instant overhead j.LK~j.MK(will whiff)~j.LK, that will allow me to combo off of a very deep j.LK. Now sure I can do j.MK again instead of the j.LK, but j.LK is a faster normal and will usually stuff any attempt of a defense that the opponent will throw out. Well Hope that helps some people.

Does it still all connect?

Sas has a really annoying application of it in the corner with instant over head j.mp j.mk(whiff). you can see DD whip that out quite often.

Alright guys, I think I might be starting a little combo series involving darkforces and what not. Here’s my first one for Jedah

I dont play VS at all but thats pretty cool.

this will not work.

I’m pretty sure you cannot have a 2nd aerial chain begin with the same move that the 1st aerial chain began with. but the example conveys the right idea

is there anyone who can explain to me the best way possible to utilize air block, ADF attack with bee?

and I need as much info about bee as possible.

Its pretty rare that your going to be jumping with out IAD’ing with her. But if you want to apply that methodology to Qbee try doing something like this

j. lp, j.lk (on block) slight pause: Air dash forward
j.lk on block slight pause: air dash forward

You can actually do alot with this. Those things recover really fast. so air dashing after them is very plausable. THe timing might be weird though. Have fun!

I think one of the most underutilized things with Q-Bee is her walk. It makes her so unpredictable because if you can get real consistent with IAD’ing and changing your timing with float jumps, you’ll be a walking mixup (lol).

He might be asking this mostly for the matchup Vs. Talbain. He was having trouble with it, so I showed him some matches where Ora-Ora would bulldog Talbain by jumping towards Talbain and float, then chicken guard his jump string and counter with a dash. I’m def not an expert on Q-Bee, but Ora-Ora has been the only Bee player I’ve fought that could beat me with any consistency, so I put a lot of stock in his method for dealing with the match.

If you want to give him any other general tips, that would be good, cos the only other things I notice that Shoul can improve on in that match are his offensive maneuvers. I admit, though, I’m hardly an expert on Q-Bee, lol.

The best distance for her to be at is the distance you’re put after a max range j.LK, because that’s the distance you can double IAD j.LK from. A prime example is off an anti-air c.HP, since that puts you at the best distance for IAD j.LK and still be at range for a second IAD jLK or c.LK mixup, which is basically her best mixup. Another stupid thing that’s randomly good is intentionally doing empty IAD land c.LK, or d.LK into hcb+P.

And yeah, her walk is great, because her anti-airs are solid and then range she wants to be at is right around anyone else’s max range poke. She doesn’t even really need to do much footsies, just walk forward and block. If you see an opening, take it. If they jump, hit them.

Also yes, chicken blocking then immediate airdash or chickenblock into short float into airdash is beastly good. Can’t really anti-air Victor consistently because of his damn j.HP but against him you can just chickenblock-airdash all day.

Regarding Kame, this is dated as 2010/02/27 and Kame is using Victor.
