I can see Talbain as a character to start with but my vote goes to Demitri to get a feel for the game.

Personally if someone really wants to get a feel for the game and learn some BS. Play Sas, That is about as stupid as you get.
I think L.Raptor is actually a really good character to learn the game with. You pretty much learn everything you need to learn with him and he isnt an easy character to play. You learn him, You pretty much learn VS
Demi isnt as “easy” or “Simple” as most people say he is. Demi’s strength relies in his ability to read situations and react accordingly. He is very shoto like yes but I think morrigan is more shoto than Demi is

Beats - if you’ve got a 360 or PS3 stick GGPO is super easy to get up and running, You’d definitely dig high level play of it, very quick reset rushdown with all sorts of shenanigans. Hit me up on AIM sometime if you want me to walk you through the setup, only takes a few minutes.

really, kajoq? hmm, now that I have a 360 stick, that actually might make it easier. should I do anything b4 contacting you? I’m usually very bad at setting up all these emus and hacks and online fgames on my comp @_@ seeing as how I’ve always failed…
I prefer unique characters that have an answer for almost every situation, but above all else has a really good mind game. That’s why I like Jedah. I make it a point not to play shotos unless they’re radically different from the standard Capcom shoto.
Demitri has an srk and a fireball but plays nothing at all like a shoto
