A couple days ago Sven from Capcom Unity asked what version of Darkstalkers they should use for an online edition. Everyone, go spread the word and tell Sven/Capcom we want Chronicle/Chaos Tower for the Online Edition NOW.
That’s basically Hyper Darkstalkers right?

Actually, I have been told that Chronicle/Chaos Tower has some technical issues. I was always under the impression the two versions were flawless.
A Vampire Savior 1 arrange sounds like a better idea now.
If 3SOE is any indication, it wouldn’t be that much of a challenge to fix those inaccuracies, would it?
Well the collection was japan only and has to be localized if it was to be the base of a port.
The Saturn port would require someone to have extensive SH-2 knowledge(HARD TO FIND).
Basing a port off of the arcade board would require someone to have M68K+Z80 knowledge.
Or, use an emulator (would require a license from Q-Sound).
Dreamcast and Playstation 1 versions not usable.
you never want to base a new port of a game off an old one that is flawed. Whenever you want to port something, choosing the most accurate version is critical. It seems like it saves time and headaches from the workers @ capcom.
ps2 version is the best. Its the closest thing to arcade perfect you can get on console outside of the saturn version and it has the extra characters in it.
ps2 version is best for training.
there is def. lag input in 2p matches. ss version is the smoothest and most accurate, yet is definitely not arcade perfect due to a few changes made
chronicles and all versions/ports of it. are far from perfect

I want my Donovan. I wouldn’t even be maining Lilith and Bulleta if he was already in the game. Get him and those other two chars Pyron and Phobos in the game like they were supposed to be.
The only 2 characters that were supposed to be in Vampire Savior was Phobos and Anita.
Voted for arranged with GGPO. I need Donovan/Huitzil/Pyron in my life, sry. I personally view Donovan as on of the best characters ever created.

Thread title change. DCC is coming up in two days. DCC is a duel tournament featuring 2 of the vampire series games Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior. This year will feature a 5v5 team format for savior. I don’t know if the same will be applied for hunter.
