Just saw some of the stream. It pleases me to see that there are still a handful of people beasting it up in the VSav community, as evidenced by that Anakaris stuff. Wouldāve liked to see more/better Lei Lei footage, but the fact we even got to see any Sav footage is enough for me.

But if it means a console release on PSN and XBLA, so be it. This game needs more exposure. I canāt see it happening for awhile though.
On a similar note, Morrigan actually got buffs in MvC3 (i.e., flight mode, better health), yet still Capcom somehow manages to make her on the lower end of things. Sheās not exactly low tier like Ko is, but her damage output is low and what she can accomplish is generally accomplished easier by Magneto and the like.
Felicia got her health knocked down a bit too, though Iām not sure where she stands because barely anyone uses her. In short, all three of our DS buddies got shafted. For no good reason too, it seems, so Iām holding out for buffs, especially for LL. But whatever. Thatās that gameās problem.
Yeah, I saw that match against Floeās Victor right after I posted that lol. Good stuff, though Floe bodied him kinda hard on that second match. Iām now in hot pursuit of more Kajoq matches.
And concerning GGPO, does this mean that 3S will be taken off now that itās getting a console release?
Well Morriganās damage was the only thing holding her back in MvC3. Sheās scary otherwise. Felicia wasnāt shafted though. She just didnāt fit with the game, not a fault of Felicia, but she was still very solid. Hsien-Ko is the only one with a legitimate beef honestly.
And yeah, 3S is being taken off of GGPO when OE comes out, at least from what I saw.
Any of the games on GGPO will be removed if a rerelease is put out according to Ponder.
Yeah, Iāve heard scary things about Darkness Illusion (clone) + Soul Fist and cr. :l: double teaming. I had no idea that Felicia doesnāt fit with the game (Iāve barely ever played as her, so I donāt know anything in-depth about her)? How does she not?
Anyone feel like Lei Lei and Feliciaās personalities arenāt accurate in that game? Compared to how sassy and confident she is in her home series, Felicia seems like just another dumb catgirl to me in Marvel 3. Ko feels all screwed up, like they took away her bit of an edge and amped up the sugar. Me no like. If Capcom truly is working on a DS4, I hope this isnāt the route they take with these charactersā (or any of them, for that matter) personalities. And LL had better not be the slow-as-hell, weak damage mess she is now. The best way I can describe the change from her VSav playstyle to her current one is from frenetic to languid.
Like, she fitsā¦just notā¦as well as others like her. I mean, with the way the game is, thereās no way to actually buff herā¦to actually put her on par with Wolvie. Her and Wolvie are basically the same kind of character, except heās better in every conceivable way. As long as he exists, Felicia unfortunately wonāt have much of a place in the game.
Which is fine, because like I said, she, and the rest of the girls are in a better place in a far superior game, which we should be talking about more, because this is the VSav thread, not the MvC3 VSav Characters threadā¦
I dunno, Garou is still playable on GGPO and its been out on XBLA for over a year now.

since some of the GGPO VS crew have been hitting the tourney scene hard this year, the vampire savior room is really growing. over the last few days there have been 25+ players in the room when typically its around 5 for that time of day.
what this means for newer players is that you donāt have to worry about only playing the OGs and getting bodied every round. You can actually find players around your skill level if you prefer to level up like that which I know some people like to do. Just within this last week, Iāve probably seen 10 new players pick up the game.
donāt be worried about tiers, since mar just won a national with the worst character in the game, just play who you want and make sure you actually study your character. Its incredibly apparent that in this game, its how you play and not exactly who you pick. Definitely a rare breed for fighters.
download the latest version of GGPO from ggpo.net then download the euro version of the rom to get started playing. Hot times are late afternoons to past midnight.
Iāll attempt to get some games in, but Iām insanely rusty. Plus I still havenāt done PvP in this game yet which bothers me.
EDIT: Take that back, Iām still confused with the GGPO update. I downloaded itā¦but idk what to do after that.
