I can’t help you with the damage, but don’t use it - it’s pretty much a taunt. Slow startup, unsafe on block, uses two stocks… it’s just not worth it.
^ Figured as much. Ah well. Thanks anyway.
Mostly Pump, DDR, and Ouendan/EBA. Never really cared for Harmonix’s stuff.
Sorry if this is the wrong place, but it seemed like the best choice due to Felineki’s impressive guide to the dipswitch settings…
I’ve had the Vampire Collection for PS2 for awhile now, but lately I’ve been playing the arrange modes of VS and VS2 (mostly VS2, which I realize is not as well received but for now that’s OK with me) at my groups weekly gatherings, and I’ve got a question regarding the dipswitches.
So if I were to want to play the final versions of I’d set it to 1997/05/19 and 1997/09/13 respectively, right? This may be a stupid question but… what version am I getting if I don’t pick any stars? I noticed some of them are for location tests or console versions, but I’m comparing to a list of arcade builds and I don’t see anything that would suggest what build this would be equal to…

It wouldn’t correspond to any previous build. Lots of the dipswitches fix/change things that were never touched in any previous version.
Speaking of location tests, came across this video recently: Check out Victor at 1:45.
Ah, that would make sense. Now that you mention it, I seem to remember the SF Alpha Anthology being similar in that regard, causing people to talk about it not being arcade perfect before the dipswitch menu was discovered.
Are the phenomena you listed in the arcade versions as well? I assume so.

The ones that won’t change regardless of dipswitch settings? Yes, those are all in the original arcade versions, as far as I know.
Dropped Demitri, trying to learn Raptor now. He’s a ridiculous character.
Good luck. He takes airdash game to a whole 'nother level. So scary.
why is this game so good
question i ask myself all the time. I don’t know! I just love it. Pretty sure it’s my favorite “real” fighting game.
Hey there guys!
Ultimate Fighting Game tourney is coming up soon, hope you’ve all been practicing! We need a HUGE turnout in order to make something out of this oppourtunity. So, how do we go about doing that?
SIMPLE!
I’m going to be dedicating a channel on Youtube to Vampire Savior matches from GGPO. US, Europe, Japan casuals and hopefully some tournaments as well.
Here’s where you come in. I need various people to help me out with character specific things. I can only execute so much (read: very little, lol) and having a character expert can really help things out. So…record yourself showing off what you can do with your character and send it to me via PM or even e-mail or instant messenger. I’ll format it, put it to music and release it ASAP.
Thanks guys! Let’s get hype! UFGT is a little more than 2 months away

Fantastic idea, the room has been kinda dead lately because of MvC3 though.
I’m always in the room so if you want to feel free to record my matches as well. I don’t know how to record so I can’t do it myself.
Our good friend Sasaduka, the Japanese Lei Lei and Q-Bee wizard was kind enough to share a couple of links to some Japanese websites for savior
Good shit, I’ll check them out now.
I’m trying to level up my Jedah. Trying to break my habits of throwing air Scythes and actually going on the offensive with him. I also play Demitri, but I want to pretty much learn everybody.
Kan Tokumaru, the voice of Anakaris, Bishamon, Sasquatch, and Victor, passed away on March 6th.
