Gamestop told me Castlevania:OoE was to be shipped on Tuesday to be released Wednesday that week, but they had it available on Tuesday. I was really hoping they were lying to me about this game as well.
Man, I really want this game.

I think I got my Gamestop’s only copy. Either that or the Naruto game was the only copy.
I’m going to play the Naruto game first simply because I want to unlock all the characters.
Waiting for this to ship to me from Amazon. The demo is amazing, I fully expect this to monopolize all my time for a few weeks once I get it.

Last night I played chapters 1-6 and it’s definately the rpg the ps3 needed.
This is the first sega game I’ve bought since skies of arcadia (and I’ve got vyse, aika, and finna on my squad). I’ve got an agressive play style where I’ll rush up to an enemy, zig-zag to dodge their attack, then take them out with multiple headshots right in front of them while they reload. 
I’d love to see a new FF Tactics on ps3 using this engine.
Seems we have a very similar play style. :lol:
I also like to position all my guys very close to the enemy so that I get to auto-kill almost all of them on the enemy’s turn.
I’m only on Chapter 3, though. Alicia is already my favorite character.
Damn i want this game so bad, it got delayed in Toronto =/ Glad to see ppl are enjoying it!! I think it’s really cool how characters fight and respond better/worse in specific environments and settings. Fuck… need this bad lol.
Anyone (Superking?) know if you get a bonus/award for not letting any of your teammates die the entire game?
I accidentally let someone die during the last turn of Chapter 6, and, since it was a pretty long battle, I don’t want to load a previous save and replay it if there’s no need to do so.
Currently at the end of chapter 9…
I’m midway through 9. Anyways, the music in this game owns.
Do you guys use English or Japanese voices? I’ve tried a little of both and have decided I’m going to stick to English. The voices are pretty good actually, and plus during battles when you hear units randomly talk or when you select them, you can understand what they are saying.
I chose English because it felt good. Either way, I like to turn on subtitles and read them (and their poor grammar).
I have some questions about this game…
Is there any exploration at all? Any way of leveling outside of fixed battles? Are there sidequests?
From what I was reading, it seemed like just a fixed sequence of battles and no sidequests and optional/random fights.
You can play skirmishes whenever you want, and the battlefields are very large with objective open-ended enough for you to play them in whatever strategy you see fit.
Anyway, I’m on chapter 4 now, and Vyse is by far my MVP. I don’t really like Lancers, so I pretty much just had Vyse OCV the chapter 3 battle by running to the objective like he’s Solid Snake or some shit. :lol:

I had no idea the stuff you buy from Ellet unlocked skits/side missions until I reached chapter 10 and went back a page.

Just made it to chapter 14. Selvaria has the potential to be my favorite character, but I think Alicia’s it so far…
Perhaps the game to get me to buy a PS3?
If more SRPG/JRPGs come along, I’m sold.
