yeah, I’ve been there twice now…play couple of people in Marvel. I usually go on friday around 430 before school…i dont see anyone except for matt( hope that was his name). The sticks are not that good…is that the only place you guys play marvel?? or any fighting games??
Can anyone tell me about arcade scene down in VA Beach area? Is it dead down there b/c I would like to play some catz from VA. I can play all the capcom games so it doesn’t matter which one(s).
GreenBrier Mall or Lynnhaven Mall… Everytime i go to lynnhaven its dead so i would go to greenbrier…

Last time I went to lynnhaven all they had was T5 and SC1or2. No Capcom games from what I remember. I haven’t been to Greenbrier in years. I can play CvS 2 if you were wondering. By the way do you know what games are at Greenbrier? And does anyone meet up on Friday or Saturday there?
If you want to play capcom players, hit me myself on Aim (det Jinmaster) or SMP (lomaxima) all the old school va capcom heads dont go to the arcades, but they are still willing to play if you hit them up.
I don Monthly DC tournaments that host a good number of 2d fighers
also, the Richmond tournament on Feb 11th will have capcom games as well.
Lynnhaven(Aladdin’s Castle) is apparently shutting down shop, so get in whatever games you can, for most of the machines will be gone soon.
Right now, Lynnhaven has MvC2 and CvS1(!) as far as Capcom games go. As far as I can tell, Josiah and I are the main people who go there on a regular basis. We’re usually there on Saturday around late afternoon. But I can make it to Greenbrier if need be. Your best bet is probably to post in this thread and tell people where you’re going and when so they can meet you there.
And I play CvS2. PM me if you want to get some games in.

Damn dude…I haven’t been to Greenbrier Mall in a long ass time. But, the last time I went they did have MvC2, Soul Calibur 2, SNK vs. Capcom…and, that’s all I remember. I only know how to play MvC2. In Lynnhaven Mall, me (Josiah) and Chris (BarrelO) play sometimes. The sticks suck ass! I can’t do the strider/doom trap on the left side so I’m always forced to use Cable teams. Sometimes, my friend James plays. He uses Spiral/Cable/Sent. Other people that go to Lynnhaven Mall sometimes: Armando (Cable/Sent/Cyclops), FoomyJin (Mainly Magneto teams), Teddy (mainly magneto), and some guy that uses Juggernaut/Iceman/Gambit. I had a lot of fun today at Lynnhaven. Me, Armando, Teddy, Chris, FoomyJin, and some guy named Tranh were all over there. Tranh’s from Seattle, and he was rompin’ us…I might be there again tomorrow (saturday), and see what’s up. Good games…peace…
