Don’t forget that if you are top four at the end of the season, you have won your share of money, so it’s not like you don’t get anything.

Seriously, I don’t care what we want to do w/ the money. If it was my choice, then I would increase the entry fee to support both a weekly payout and end of season payout. However, personally, I rather see more money go to a end season payout b/c doing “ranking battles” is useless if there’s no incentive. Weekly payouts would just encourage ppl to show up when they want rather than having to come every week and compete, which I feel brings a sense of continuity and community. Personally, I agree with Matt. Were too small that we pretty much need all members to show up to have at least 10-12 ppl. Yeah there maybe 30 ppl involved in the community now, but most are peripheral, not all are gonna pony up 5 bucks consistently, just the 10-12 regulars (hopefully more do join). But like I said, I don’t really care about prizes, just want ppl to get hype and active.

Andy, continuity is great, but if it requires a large commitment it alienates people like
Dana and Konqrr, who can’t make it all the time, or new people. I’m fine with both, though I’d prefer to have the fee be like 3 bucks each time instead of five (not a biggy, though–with work I don’t know how often I’ll be able to make whatever, have to schedule days off way in advance, blah blah).

Tournament at Play N Trade is cancelled, not the fault of TeamUtahNoobs. Play N Trade owner called it off and is rescheduling b/c only 2 ppl signed up. . .didn’t even know there were sign ups. I’m going to talk to the Play N Trade owner at Sugar House Location for tourney in future to hold our next ranbat 1.2 so we can have fellow nerds gawk at how amazing we are.

I really don’t care how much $$ each ranbat entry is or when it’s divided up, I just want to build the community and make Utah have a strong user base for SF4. I have a great time whenever I make it to town to play you guys whether it be casuals or tournaments.
I’m there. Now I can go see my kid hunt Easter Eggs and all that jazz. 
Guess I’ll have to call Jacob and Andrew to see if they’re game.
Man, I don’t give a flying fuck about money to be honest. I mean, there really isn’t enough money involved to make it an incentive for me. Even if there was a huge payout for the winners, that would mean huge entry fees. I wouldn’t bother at all if that were the case, seeing as how I probably won’t even place haha.

In regards to tomorrow, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it. I have an easter egg hunt with my kids tomorrow evening at 5:30. I had planned that around the tourney tomorrow thinking that it would start at 1:00 with me losing early enough to make it back to Layton by then. However, Wallace and I have talked about showing up late to spectate, play some friendlies (if possible), and just to get more acquainted with everyone.

I dropped my stick on the ground, and it was only two feet. I think it fell directly on the stick part itself.
Now it won’t go down and left. Can’t block and crouch on the left, can’t slide with Dhalsim/Rose/Blanka on the right.
Is anyone who is going to be there good with sticks? Should I bring screwdrivers? Had, do you have some? Smaller Phillips head for the screws in there.
