I wouldn’t force any 3-D MK game on anyone (even the new one…it’s just not that good). Just good old MK2/UMK3 
As for SFIV, I’ve been playing a whole lot lately unlocking colors/chars and doing the challenges. I’ve gotten half of the characters done and am happy to say that I finished CViper’s challenges last night…that last one was insanely difficult.
I think I’ve decided on who I’m going to main now, that’s Boxer/Guile. I want to use Viper but she is so difficult to use and Cammy just plain sucks ;_;
I have a lot of things coming up soon so I don’t know if I can make anything yet. I’ll keep checking back here for updates.

I don’t have a stick for the 360 yet. I had a DOA4 Hori stick but it broke. I will not play fighting games on that d-pad, you can’t make me! o_O lol
Once I get my stick, I’ll go buy it for the 360.
I used to rarely play my ps3 also, but after two rrod’s I just don’t trust to even turn the damn thing on anymore. ps3 ftw.

I decided to finally play ranked and went 8-1 or so before I couldn’t take the scrubby play any longer o_O… I’ll just get the trophy of 10 in a row and never play ranked again, I mean can there be other characters besides Ken and Akuma? wow
Been practicing Viper some more and I figured out a good way to get the FK after SH more reliably. She is awesome. Ultra from c.MK ftw!

I apologize for me not being nearly as active as I should be on here. Main reason is I’m just not nearly as good as any of you guys are at this game. So whats this talk about a tourneyy in provo?
UglyDuckling and myself joined forces today to scout out some tournament and gathering venues. He should have info momentarily.
I’ll play you guys later this week. I don’t have work Thursday and Friday, so I’ll be able to do some SF IV. Dana and Ugly Duckling still don’t know how good I am yet. I’ve gotten used to the stick for this game, so I can show you guys what I’m made of.
Anything going on this weekend? I’d like to throw a get together next weekend (March 6 or 7) for my birthday (no smash during this one).
Also, when it comes to tournaments and brackets, I have an excellent program for that.
I know that for me, I’m going to Round 2 in West Jordan this Saturday at 1:30pm, and I think there’s some church stuff aside from that, so I may be yet another no-show at your house, LordLuxun. Hopefully not; it’d be cool to play over there.
Ugly and I still need to hash it out, but here are some details. It looks like Versus Games would probably be a better location than the Provo Library, at least for small to medium gatherings. 5 TV’s, 1 recliner each in front of each TV, and we can use the chairs from the computers. 5 Xbox 360’s to go along with it, and he has one copy of SFIV, so we’d have to bring in our copies (not a big deal). We could also bring in our own sticks/controllers.
We talked to the owner about pricing, and he was saying we’d pay $15 each (if we got a big enough group) for a Saturday time slot from 6pm-2am, which comes out to $2.50/hr, which is a great deal considering his normal weekend pricing. I believe that he said that we’d get a discount on pizza from the nearby pizzeria, which they both swear is teh awesome.
Overall, a better atmosphere than the library, better hours, cool owner who’s giving us a deal…not to mention better exposure to other gamers who may get interested and swell our ranks.
