Nah dude, no one is going to be interested in KOF XII because freaking BlazBlue hits two weeks before it. Woooo! The wheel of fate is turning!
Oh, and we run causuals all of the time. If you want to improve you need to show up once in a while, and get some Kelly pro tips. I’m sure if you pay Kelly by the hour for some training you’ll be a tournament level Dictator in no time. He just needs to know at least 10 minutes in advance so he can go into training mode and learn everything before we meet. Dude is like an encyclopedia of combos and tactics for characters he has never played.
Where have you been man? Park City ain’t that far away. We all missed ya. You actually have a decent Dictator but I think I last saw you at ranbat 1.3 probably. We hold casuals at my house twice a week. Mike uses Bison and does so well. Kelly is always helpful at pointing out shit. Online is great and fun, not bad for practice. But you get better timing offline with your moves.
KOFXII vs BB. Not sure what I’ll like better. But I’m buying both and most of the guys will too. I do like the 3v3 aspect of KOFXII. BB graphics seem very very crisp. Not sure, we’ll see.
Cya at the next casual/ranbat. We had 34 ppl join last time. Shit is hype.
ANNOUNCEMENT
RANBAT 1.6 WILL BE 6/20, sorry couldn’t get the date of 6/27.
You probably got the Thomas syndrome man, maybe you burnt yourself out on online play. Online play sucks… There’s no one there to witness your skills, it’s an unfriendly environment, lag… the list goes on. Plus dude… this game has some real weird mechanics and mis-matches. Come to casuals and ranbats if you can and take a break. Get KoF12 and BB in a couple weeks.
We should really designate names, like call him Tom instead or call me Tom instead. I really don’t care, but I sometimes mistake who the fuck we’re talking about.
When I was in Japan I played both KOF XII and BlazBlue. I like both a lot, but I think BlazBlue gets the edge. See, while I do like KOF, I never got into it too much since I had nobody to play it with…so, no use in trying to get good. Also, I never got a good feel for it.
With that said, KOF XII is a lot similar to Garou in how it plays, so that was an aspect about it that I really liked a lot. There’s a lot of new mechanics added that made me really like it over it’s predecessors. So, you can bet your biffy that I’ll be getting that on opening day…or whenever it gets shipped to my house.
You can also bet your biffy that I’ll be getting BlazBlue opening day/whenever it arrives at my house. BlazBlue was the fighter I played the most in Japan next to SF4, so I can honestly say that I like it and will be playing it. 'Course, it also helps that I am a fairly avid Guilty Gear player. BB, while similar to GG, is very different than GG in a lot of ways. It’s a lot simpler, so that’s very good.
So yea, I look forward to playing BB and KOF XII (along with more SF4) with you guys in the future…whenever I meet more of you. So far, I’ve only met Kyle, Zack and Wallace; all great guys. Tuesday begins my week off, and I will be going to the Thursday casuals with the Ogden crew, so I would like to see if I could go to a casual meeting with the SLC crew too, sometime next week.
I’ll probably play both. But that doesn’t change the fact that KoF looks like crap. It looks like it was made 15 years ago. And is supposed to be played on a PS1.
PS: I think I might start playing WoW again. :razzy: It sounds like fun.
Dude KOF looks like crap? Shit looks fucking AWESOME. It has the largest and most detailed sprites in any fighter to date. And the fact that it’s all hand-drawn is totally gangster.
