Akuma is still good but I personally place him a few spots lower because he has picked up some bad match ups.

I don’t see how the Condor Spire Buffs change any of the matchups THawk already lost previously. It’s not hard to reaction punish spire with a jab or DP afterall(30frames on whiff). You can still zone him out fairly hard with a lot of characters i.e Vega and Sagat. Delayed Wakeup was a huge nerf to his LP Command Grab derp setups too.
Now if max range crMK linked into anything he’d be more of a real threat. But as of now I don’t think he’s past mid tier, he still loses the same matchups he did in AE, only does better in the matchups he was even(won in).
Negative. Hawk is indeed a hell of a lot stronger, although I will agree that bad players don’t know how to punish the spire. If that gets nerfed it would be a travesty for hawk players.
Also mike on the " roll" thing, punishing something online is vastly different to off. To this day I still have problems punishing blank a balls with rekka and its not that hard.

What makes hugo’s 720 easier?
He has 8 prejump frames as opposed to the standard 4. 6 for grapplers. Well… Gief and Hawk. 3 for Dhalsim. 5 for Hakans back and neutral.
The input is also easy when you take into account the shortcuts. I use HCF, UF, HCB + 3P
