Reversal because “suck it i have alot of options aka viper and i doubt you can OS all of them”

Shit shouldnt be too surprising… I may have fucked up and forgot one escape

PS: Non asian internet [Almost forgot]
PPS: Unblockable and fake cross ups [50/50 in a 50/50]

If your char’s reversal puts you in a positive state [aka you can run mixups] then its not dumb it smart

Big bird is too good. Best guy hands down.

According to commentators Infiltration thinks Guy counters Elena. Called it with Momochi trying to develop a Guy so hard.

Big Bird our savior.

Yo Keoma destroyed reiketsu, your boy may be the current best Abel tbh. It wasn’t just that he won, but he basically read and shutdown everything the guy did.

I wonder why he feels that way? Does EX Hozanto counter common healing setups or something? Her normals seem better than his, and St.MK/sweep make elbow seem pretty useless. Not sure how the matchup is supposed to be played, but it’s not something I can envision being in his favor, then again I’m not a world class player either.

I don’t know either, but Big Bird is getting a lot of mileage out of s.mk. That no go midrange zone that Elena has where you’re threatened by low or EX Mallet Smash is contested by it pretty convincingly. And for her fucked up hurtbox at least TC2 works from surprisingly long ranges, even after run overhead.

Did Reiketsu play Vega or Poison? If it was Vega it was a poor pick because Keoma regularly plays one of the best Vegas in the world imo.

Why did it take people so long to realize Keoma is legit? It’s funny cause saying that last year in other communities = down voted. Especially after the ChuChu blow up. Now those same people are massaging his D. I thought his lack of travel would work against him, but his recent results say otherwise.

Reiketsu played Poison. He’s actually getting manhandled lately when he picks her over Vega. Even if he loses with Vega, it’s nowhere near as bad.

Doubt he knew that, but went with Poison both games and got raped. He didn’t know how to play the neutral against Abel at all, just kept running into EX wheel and stepkick all day into mixups. He also got U1 twice on reads (was way too fast to be a reaction), though the 2nd one whiffes due to spacing.

KEOMA IN WINNERS OMFG

I gotta be honest even if you play against these guys it’s hard to gauge level by comparing videos or theoretical level so I wasn’t sure where our best ranked.

If Keoma is doing this well, I’ll go as far as to say we also have the best Vega in the world and he could also achieve the same success (baring stuff like tournament nerves or travelling stress).

You can see how inexperience played a huge part in Keoma’s losses vs MBR, for instance. We have no really legit Akuma players and so he got tagged multiple times by demon flip quick rising after EX tatsu in the corner.

ROFL Luffy tried anti airing Elena with cr.hp it whiffed, tried slide it whiffed

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo keoma vs bigbird

Keoma vs Big Bird intrigues me a ton. Similar kind of players from regions with not enough exposure, will be interesting.

I like watching Pain.Ludo a ton too Otori, does he still play? It’s a shame that Fabinho sucks, I’ve seen a couple other Giefs but god damn they just do shit and don’t understand either neutral or do the good mixups. They rely a ton on matchup inexperience and online gimmicks.

The only negative thing I can say about Keoma, is that his defense is really suspect. I know lack of matchup experience plays a big part in if, but it seems like once he’s knocked down against someone with good mixups, he cracks pretty hard.

Mixed feelings about that win since Keoma is already qualified lol

Ohhh feels good you know these players lol. I haven’t heard from Ludo for over a year now, I don’t recall him being in a tournament since 2013 so I’m pretty sure he stopped playing. Fabinho was actually my first tournament elimination with the j.hp, spd “combo” lol. Never got my runback.

And I wholeheartedly agree with what you said. The problem with underdeveloped communities is that people get away with scrub tactics…online here is Elena, Rolento, Hugo and Gief for the most part. If you watched the Capcom event here it was the same thing. Even big names like Bruno and Breno are not comparable to Keoma and Haztlan.

So there’s like 70% chance of Europe getting a premier spot. America is dumb for never traveling to the events with the lesser/already qualified competition.

Europe didn’t travel either. It’s not that they are dumb, it’s just not feasible for some. PR Balrog and Justin Wong traveled, they have a 9-5. Snakeeyez traveled and leveled up more. KBrad traveled a ton etc

But I do agree that PR Balrog had better chances here than he did at CPTA

EVO champion comebacks.
Luffy pls, that was too much clutch.

Keoma vs Luffy was such a sick match.

Hugo’s super looks on Dudley’s U1 level of speed

Elena ruins it all, again…

Elena killing the hype as usual. Stupid ass character.

“I want to prove that I can win with Gen”
“Fuck you, I’m going Elena after all”

AAAAH I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW

Phenom losing two weekends in a row to the two best Elenas in the world. Ugh.
