The fact that it’s raised a lot of money is good. But I heard that only 8% of it actually goes to research.
From what I’ve heard that’s the case with many if not most charities.
That’s a bit disappointing.
There are orgs that actually let you know what % of charity goes to administrative costs vs. not. People should take a look into that.
Good charities tend to be in the 80-95% range on using the money to actively help their cause.
