I think Snake Eyez can beat Fuudo if he plays on point and learned from their match at 25th anniversary. If Gackt beats Bonchan, then Snake Eyez would only have to worry about him in order to make it into winners side grand finals.
Snake Eyez, you can do it man, I believe this is the year for an American and a Grappler to win SF4 EVO.
But where the Salty Suites…
1.A bit sad that Kimo with Hakan barely missed the top 32, but he still placed better than Daigo, which is also not bad. Better than going 0-2, like he did in 2012 :). Also props for beating Dogura and Ranmasama.
2.No Akumas in top 8 lol.
3.Hope that Snake Eyez takes EVO 2014 or Luffy.

I felt like that Sako Rufus vs Random Rufus was pretty hype.
He wasnt looking shaky tbh, the counterpick match and the set in general seemed to be super close ( outside of the combo drops). I think he’ll just stick to evil ryu the next time he has to play gackt or fuudo (hopefully).
With all the crazy upsets yesterday, I wonder if SF won’t head down the road of marvel and tekken with 3/5 matches in the future?
2/3 SF taking as long as 3/5 Marvel is a big argument for it not to happen. They ran 2/3 brackets as fast as they could and it still took them something like 15 hours to get things over with, 3/5 would make matches like SnakeEyez vs Xian take a really long time. I doubt it will happen.
Lol Marvel is only 3/5 because there are no rounds and games end fast.
Though speaking of 3/5, is top 8 3/5 all the way through again?
Something else I found interesting was the insane amount of dropped combos yesterday, even by Sako. I never seen a 360 SF tourney with all those drops. That just added to the wackiness yesterday.
Every time a pro dropped a combo, I would imagine someone on this forum saying, “Links are no big deal. Learn 2 plink.”
dropped combos, jump kick instead of dive from rufus’s and yuns … sako missing simple links, not able to confirm counters … probably the buggiest SF4 version so far , ther’s a french expression that fit so well it says " jeu finis a la pisse ! "
but the worst thing is that half of the matchs wernt streamed even in top 32 + matchs of random peoples being streamed while top players matchs being played off stream, its a real shame, they have no excuse

lets talk about how certain characters are not tournament viable. I heard there was only one hugo. I missed that match. Deejay getting crushed. They need a patch combofiend. Mike Ross didn’t do honda any favors by getting so far in the tournament lol
I think Fuudos got this tournament. Its Fei-longs to lose.
If the bracket goes how I think it will, this is my final prediction just so I can brag if I’m somewhat right:
1: Snake Eyez
2: Gackt
3: Louffy
4: Fuudo
5: Bonchan
5: Ricky Ortiz
7: Sako
7: Momochi
These results depend heavily on who wins the Gackt/Bonchan, and Louffy/Momochi matches. If Bonchan beats Gackt, and Louffy beats Momochi, then I have a feeling either Fuudo or Bonchan will take it; if Gackt beats Bonchan, and Momochi beats Louffy, then I have Momochi winning it all.
Pretty much if either Bonchan or Momochi win their first matches, then It’s their tournament to take unless Fuudo can pull a fast one.
