Isn’t the headstomp from Oni punishable by SPD ?
And Oni’s normal have really bad hurtbox and throwbox, so I guess you can SPD things like his forward fierce with ease.
We talked a lot about Oni, and I think he’s just where he should be in people’s mind. He’s not a bottom 5 character by any means, but he’s at most a mid tier one. His mix up is too gimmicky to be reliable, and his fireball game is awful. That thing seems fast but the recovery on it is pretty bad for a short range fireball.

It isn’t. KOG tried to punish the headstop with SPD but it failed everytime. He got most of his damage from condor spire and Ultras… Definitely not a bad match-up. The only reason KOG won is because he took a lot of risks that paid off. He beats a lot of players this way including Tokido. Are people going to say T.Hawk is a bad match-up for Akuma because of that? No.
WCG USA qualifiers, but it doesn’t look like many people are there.

eita ALMOST beat mago’s fei long, the game went to the last round. althought the results dont tell it, he plays a very different, very effective ryu with a lot of patience.
