i dont think he plays as much sf4 as he used to. hard to get better when you dont play

I see him post all the time on his thread that he still practices and plays a lot. Even when he was playing a lot he was still losing just as bad…poor showing for Canada.

hard to get better when everyone else sucks

Bonchan lost a lot of weight, he was a bit fat for a japanese.

So many Rufus vs Cammy matches today

well he is pretty close to top 16. lets not go too far

Confirmed. Losing to Tokido = Sucking.

The problem is that this is a reoccurring issue for jozhear.

Every major he goes to he’s always"close"or just a"bit off from making the top spots"but in the 4 years that he’s been playing this game he still can’t close that gap.

He just got raped by tokido without getting a single round and this after 4 years of extensive training and tournament experience in Canada cup, evo and his own tournament community. White gun…the guy who was double perfected last year at least managed to get a round off fuudo and this guy has a quarter of the experience and time put into this game that jozhear does.

I think after 4 years of failing its perfectly acceptable to say this was yet again another poor showing.

You have to remember that you can just get random knockdowns with ibuki and get win games. Vega is a lower variance character your results are going to be more to the matchups and your true talent level.

Having played both players Jozhear is many times the player WhiteGun is, and it’s not even close.

well top 24 or whatever at this calibre of tourney is still really good

and like ves was saying, its going to tough to get to that next level without traveling a bunch. just evo and CC every year is going to be tough for him to get to tokido type level

Well understandably he will never get to true top level play and that’s exactly the point I’m trying to make here. Like white gun might not be as good as jozhear but regardless of that fact, he got better results against a opponent who was equally as good as tokido. Not to mention this is coming off 4 years of similar results…so regardless if jozhear might be a better player then someone like white gun, the fact of the matter is that white gun looked stronger even if he really isn’t.

After 4 years of playing the game and multiple casuals and money matches against top players…is there a excuse anymore?

It isn’t even just guys like tokido that he’s losing to at tournaments either. He got rolled over by combofiend’s oni a year back and that was at a time when he was still playing seriously.

So jozhear should play a stupider character is what you are saying?

Play a better character yeah , why not if you’re going to invest so much time into the game. You want your efforts to pay off.

Oh my God watching Bonchan makes me hard.

After 4 years and and all the loses…is character loyalty going to be enough satisfaction to justify the hours and money spent on this hobby?

Depends what he wants from the experience but since I’ve known him it seems like he takes this seriously and wants to be a top player. I therefore think that since vega hasn’t clearly worked out for him that he should reconsider.

It’s been nice to watch Fillipino Champ, cool to get to see what Dhalsim is capable of.

I find it annoying that in most tournaments they don’t allow costumes, they think it is distracting for players or some shit? Also why they always play in the training stage.

Other stages are laggy

I think a better question is, when tournaments do allow stage choices, why is Overpass the only stage anyone ever picks?

Infiltration is done…I knew he was just another phase player, like KBrad and others.
