Could I get some thoughts on Chris Hu? Really legit Oni, fraud who uses gimmicks, or just a decent player who’s gotten more solid recently?
I’ve just noticed him doing better at tournaments recently (Read: Evo and NLBC) and I don’t know what to make of him.
chris hu is solid. he’s always been good. he just went thru some soul searching wih his character in AE and AE 2012, and is coming back strong now after deciding to stick with oni
also on a different note i think this collusion stuff is the first step of making everything character lock

Also, I don’t know much about competitive gaming outside fighting games, but don’t some other communities have ranking systems that help prevent collusions? I think the problem could be fixed if losing to any given player could be bad for that. How we incentivize it I have no idea

Yes. Seeing Chris “Stuff DPs because wtf” G getting bodied is delicious.
His Yang was very entertaining though.
My highlight today was Dhalsim wiping the floor with that Seth player.
That guy played really solid.
Was a little disappointed that I didn’t see any Ken players in top 8, but then again I’m always disappointed by that when I watch competitive SF.
Yang fever hitting hard. It started with FloE saying he was going to main Yan after the winter season. Then PR Rog said he’s switching to Yang when Ultra hits.
Today I saw the first Yang in competition that I’ve seen in a looooooooong time ( Chris G) and now I’m seeing ROM in the other tournament with… Yang.
Well aint that a motherfucker, up next Illiterate with his really really good… Yang

Not to you. My gf here loved Zeus in Summer Jam was pissed when he lost but now Cubano Loco is in action so she’s excited. Who knows… maybe Vega wins something?
