BTW, the game is still working really good for me! :)))
Honestly, things got WAY better once I disabled the in-game VSync and enabled it in my Nvidia settings. I can now run the game at 16x MSAA 1080p and see no lag.
Announcer volume is annoying. Other than the occasional desync, hasn’t been too bad. Just fix the stupid announcer and desyncs and we’re good.
Except almost everybody decent already knew about Vsync causing input lag and already did that “FIX” on the GFWL version.
Thats not what we are complaining about. We are complaining about dropped inputs and “Waiting for Opponent” messages and
pauses and freezes… none of which we got on the GFWL version.
Therefore we are not good… not by a long shot.
am starting to notice input drops, like press buttons/direction but they dont get registered, this is even with the IG Vsync
Whatever this “change” was, it did nothing on my end. It runs good for the first half hour or so, as usual, but then entire game lags (online and training move for instance. Even the menus-_-).
I was getting tired of a simple hadouken move not coming out but my opponent can hit me with a Smug Dudley combo in lag with no @%$@# problem
For what its worth the PC is still running slightly better online than the consoles…
This sentence pretty much describes my online experience with this game since vanilla. Here lately I can’t anti air any one so I eat a j.rh combo and lose half my health for even trying due to dropped inputs. I used to get at least a couple perfect connections every now and then but %90 of the time,probably due to where I live, I always have matches that pretty much run exactly like above. Not fun at all.
online was AW-FULL today.
think im gonna haveta quit this game.
its stupid to lose matches by all accounts you should win due to this godawful lag. at least GFWL lag stuck with your last input. this shit drops your block even though you never stopped blocking.

I quit SF4 until August, by then the PC version and 360 version should be patched. The PC versions no mic, sound, and netcode problem is just too bad for me to bare right now. I have USF4 on 360, but i have no XBL gold, and i’m broke. So i pretty much said fuck this game, but on the bright side i leveled up on KoF13 and Melee. 
My internet connection was barely passable and i would usually play with the few green bar players i have on my friend list, but now that you NEED to have a good connection just so you won’t get that “pop up” message, i’m fucked until i upgrade my internet too. Dota 2 and League are looking prettyyyyyyyyyyyy good right nowww.
There was a 4 MB Patch today…
But I couldn’t find anything about it
or better yet: "sigh, people. the fix is simple. go to My Documents/Capcom/SSF4AE/, and look for the config.ini file, open and turn RENDERING THREAD TO OFF. its on by default, it makes the game sluggish as hell. "
