How do you guys model hair? The blank spot behind MugenLoveās Juri Mod is driving me insane! >.< If anything, is there a way to mirror the extended bangs from a previous mod (the one with the orange skin and beauty mark) and stick it on the back of her head?
Thanks for trying to help, but I canāt make sense of most of that stuff XD. Iām not much of a programmer. What little I know is just what i faintly remember from taking a high school C++ class. Iām just using autoit right now, learning it as I go because i happen to found some hex editing functions for it online. Looks like that code though has to do with the bottom part of EMGs. I think I got that part figured out. Thereās a bunch of floats at 0x30 i cant figure out though, but I guess thatās allright because they donāt seem to do anything. At first I thought it was some kind of transformation matrix but I messed around with the values and absolutely nothing noticeable changed in-game.

Hahaha if not otherwise, I would like to make some edits for my own but I donāt know how. how do you edit the skins and colors of the outfits? and how do you swap colors and swap body parts?
Wait so did you just simplify the backgrounds and remove the people in the background? Or did you lower the quality of the stages because in that screenshot it looks like crap. (sorry no offense)
All I do is turn off models basically. (that is not simply just the people, there is a ton of models in each file, you have to remove the right ones) I wonāt take any offense, that stage was a pain. Btw my screenshots are 800x600 low resolution. I donāt downgrade the stage graphics themselves as I am really new to modding this stuff. I am doing this for better running fights on my laptop, and I am uploading these for others to use.

I know that the models for SF4 vanilla arenāt compatible from the go with AE, but how about the stage mods ?
I tried a few training stage mods for SF4, like the matrix one, but it didnāt change anything, still same old training stage. If I do the same with any stage mods from the AE section, like Vine or Brick, it works without problem.
If itās not compatible from the go, could someone post some tutorial about how to convert the old SF4 vanilla (training) stage mods please ?

The training stage had its geometry and textures separated into 2 files instead of one. If you use the Asset Explorer to extract the texture from the vanilla mod, you can inject it into the STG_TRN.tex.emz file in AE, then overwrite the STG_TRN.emz from AE with the modded one from vanilla.

If you want to learn about editing colors, hit up http://sf4mods.pbworks.com/tutorials and read the updated skinning guide. Model swapping is another thing entirelyā¦

By the way, I asked before, but didnāt get an answer in the middle of all the other posts. I think you did a really great job with that SF2 Ryu stage mod (for the training stage), are you planning to do some more SF2 feeling training stages ? Since I canāt play the game with 3D stages on, Iām trying to get as much mods for training stage as possible, and then replace all the stages of the game :).

I have been working on some SF: Alpha stages, but they look awful because the source material is so low-resolution. Iāve got some ideas to work on them a bit more, but donāt be too surprised if I failā¦
In the meantime, if anyone can rip some of the other stages from HD Remix, Iād be happy to work on those. I think the rest all have movement in them, so they wonāt look as nice as the Ryu stage, of course, but thatās not so bad.
Yeah, I guess finding the good materials to build the stage is not so easy. I donāt have experience as a modder, but what about that kind of art from the link below ? Not everything seems usable, but some of those stages could look nice in SF4, donāt you think so ?
