Cannae remember where the rock and wood textures are at, I do remember randomly stumbling across them someplace, the armor break glass was in there too. I canât remember at all. Ofc youâre looking for the âfloor is made of thisâ flag or whatever, so thatâs kinda OT, but it might have helped! If I could remember anything useful.
Did that title screen thing anyway, lost a bit from resizing and compression, but it turned out mostly reasonable. I ditched the SF4 logos cause to get them small and neat fitting in at the bottom they got kinda blurry and so on. It looks better clean anyway. I left the crap that drifts across the screen at the start cause it makes it a bit less static, and I cbf to redraw new stuff right now.

I used a CRT emulation algorithm for the upscaling, so it has scanlines and some other neat stuff instead of the normal ugly upscaling. The variation in scanline spacing on the different layers is intentional, to accentuate the retro/modern juxtaposition.

Has anyone been able to figure out where the shaders are stored? I want to make a accurate model viewer that uses the games shaders.
I donât have an install of the game, but the strings in the EMM files are literally the shader names I thinkâŚI just want to find the compiled shaders somehow

If youâre ok with using any of these upscaling shaders, I can give you details on how to apply them to a static image. It makes a stylized result, like in my example, but at least itâs not nearest neighbor or bicubic
HQ2x is what Capcom used to upscale 3SO, IIRC, so you could do that.
@Dantarion Here are the compiled shaders. The entries in the obj.emm files are indeed direct references to shaders from the âPsUserShaderâ bundle. I look forward to a model viewer that includes materials

Thinking I might try and get hold of some sheets out of the 3SO backgrounds, and see what needs repainting, what can be used just about (maybe for far background layers, thereâs a lot of foliage in the stage), mix it up a bit.
Love the Marvel theme. It would be great if you (or anyone else) were able to make some Tatsunoko vs Capcom music mods as well. Unless I´m the only one who loves those themes. For example the character select :

Looking good. If I may critique tho, Cammyâs crotch seems a bit high. Otherwise, wipes the floor with any of Capcomâs official alt costumes. Definitely looking forward to them.

Sorry for taking so long with this mod I had ran into some problems with the material, but I figure it out so its all good. It comes with 10 skins. The 6-10 skins are pretty much what he would look like after a long hard battle. I used most of Ryuâs meshes to make him, I use Ryuâs 2 model body and hands, I had to edited and welded the neck to the face. I use Ryuâs 1 model pants and legs for Kenâs pants and legs. Kenâs 1 model pants and legs are different from Ryuâs, I not sure if any one else noticed or pay attention to it. I use Evil Ryuâs mess up shirt for his skins 6-10. I had to delete a lot of mesh around it doe, because there were no bones to assign it to. I use kenâs 1 model shirt, belt and gloves. I had to delete some of his belt because there were no bones to assign it to, like I did Evil Ryuâs shirt. I made his belt look like Danâs because thatâs where I got the idea from. I use Ryuâs head band back piece, I edited it and shrunk it for his hair tie. For his waist cloth I use part of his 4 model shirt, I deleted the top and sides to make it look like his 1st model bottom cloth as much as I could. This is just some of the stuff I had to do. It was a lot of work, but I guess it was worth it.
