One thing they should’ve addressed is the online bar that shows the connection. Shit is always showing no bars and when you refresh sometimes it shows the real connection.
For the ppl who doing input lag testing, are you using ps3 sticks or ps4?
Tried out a few matches as Dudley and MGB is still off
I don’t think the input lag issue will be a simple fix and is going to take a while.
So we got input lag, freezes, weird matchmaking and botched multi-hitting moves? I’ll stick to the PC version a while longer.
I’m sure there’s a false advertisement case in all of this. Didn’t they state there was no input lag? I say none…I mean equal or less than 360.
Here is Gilley’s result

For reference PS3 is 5.1f so he has PS4 as slightly better than PS3 now.
was that tested with ps4 controller or ps3 arcade stick?
So different testers are getting different results. Either their tests aren’t consistent or everybody is having different amounts, I trust their results though…idk whose results come up as more valid, but then again different sticks can make a difference.
Gilley’s used a TE2 to get his result.
I just noticed this version of the games doesnt have upload to Youtube option. This really sucks, I guess they felt that since PS4 can stream it didnt need it. Which is dumb cause when you stream you end up causing so much lag. Its so stupid that they left this option out!
Bro you can save the video clip and then upload that
I know. I’ve been spoiled With the PC version.
Speaking of input lag and fightsticks, I’ve found this to be helpful: http://www.teyah.net/sticklag/results.html
My fightstick has the PS360+ and I plugged it in directly into the system without the Dualshock 4 (had to hold 1P+1K while plugging in the USB port to force it into PS4 mode and press the home button to turn it on). I did some testing on USFIV and I noticed there’s some less input lag which improved the gameplay for me personally.
I got my first application crash, error cp3 something :S
the netcode seems better so far since the patch + the game ain’t region locked anymore
I can see and play vs US players now
still can’t see Japan players though
Yeah vast improvements across the board with the first patch. Needs more fixing and I HOPE they equal out the input delay. I can imagine they would try just for CPT reasons maybe?
It’s not very noticeable but it can make a difference at some points. I’m just super used to PC/360.
The folks at Capcom Unity are still complaining, tho. http://www.capcom-unity.com/street_fighter/go/thread/view/7411/30508309/?pg=last#545009403
It still isn’t up to par and I hope they’re not trying to settle on this version because they haven’t said anything yet about another patch coming any time soon.
Netcode and input delay still aren’t quite there, I’d imagine another patch is in the works at least. Sony/Capcom partnership would have them really wanting the CPT up and running on the PS4.
